"Peace, love, and sandy feet. You'll find it all by the bay." This is the perfect description for this new "By the Bay" stamp set, in the 2019 Sale-a-bration catalogue from Stampin' Up!. This stamp set is a real pleasure to create with and in this video I did a spin on the 'spotlighting technique' along with my favourite masking sunset sponging technique.
***The centre focal strip of this card would also make for a lovely bookmark too!

This is a stamp set is not an easy one to put into application for me so I almost chose not to get it as a free product but now I am so glad that I did because this is the prettiest card I have seen made with the set and one I would like to create myself . You are unbelievably talented. Thank you .

Both are very pretty. I think I like the "thinking of you" better because the sunset is not so dark and muddy. When using complementary colors I try not to blend green and red, orange and blue, or yellow and purple. I think it was the pool party ink that mixed with your razzleberry.
I prefer the thinking of you card, the like the sunset in it more. Like using the center piece and the matting. Thank you for the idea.

I place my cling stamps on my shirt and remove a few times to make them easier to pull from case. They are still very sticky and stick to blocks great. Beautiful card.

Haha... Nice card. How does your Whisper White not warp when you use the aqua painter?
Hi Diana. I just make sure I'm not squeezing out too much water. I also make sure to have a paper towel handy to dab the aqua painter if needed.
