I found fair that in the OG R4 the broken butterfly was the best magnum, but in the remake, killer7 is the best magnum, possible the best gun in the game imo
i'm guessing because the killer7 has a built-in laser sight for accurate shooting and the butterfly doesn't? Sorry for being unsure, because I've barely used the magnums much.
Man, I really like the Broken Butterfly (Schofield) in the original for being not only cheaply powerful, but reloads with absolute style. Too bad it had to trade that and some of its accuracy (it had a laser in the original) for being close to its reference model.
Bro that is just an arbitrary number, what if the bosses have more health in the remake? The you have to shot them more in order to kill them compared to og re4.
The Killer 7 killed Krauser in 2 shots in my playthrough fully leveled. It has a 50 percent chance to crit which gives it 9-10 times more damage which makes it pretty broken.
I love this game and played the hell outta both versions. My favorite weapons have always been the magnum handguns but the infinite rocket launcher is alot of fun 😁
Its interesting how the Broken Butterfly Magnum looks almost like the exact replica of the Classic Colt from the SUPERNATURAL show that kills the most powerful Demons.
I did my hardcore playthrough last month. My fight with Salazar took 1 gold egg + 2 BB shots (max power + excl) 1 qte stab, and a few shots with the riot gun. Not sure if patches changed damage or boss health.
That only works on lower levels of the game and nobody can find that much Magnum ammo, you find two bullets at a time occasionally, how the hell do you have over 100?
Yeah, the Handcannon sucks compared to the Butterfly, sure it has infinite ammo, but recovering from the recoil takes way too long, and the butterfly can infinite reloads with the cat ears, it works out better if you compare how long reloading from an empty clip takes compared to how long every shot of the handcannon takes.
I believe it depends... killer exclusive is for criticals and weak points but butterfly has the most firepower, basically it will make amazing damage wether it hits the body or the head.
Not really. It drops a good monocle which sells for 30,000 so if you are really strapped for cash then maybe? However this boss fight can easily drain you of all your ammo and health items so it’s up to you.
@@patrickdoss25 lol what your able to easily max out butterfly on the first playthrough like i did but you get a very rough start i did not spend any pesetas only to max out knife in the beggining and when i got the red9 i maxed out that one on chapter 4 and after that i was always having lots of pesetas cause i never bought bigger case until chapter 13 so by the end of my run butterfly was maxed and ibought it when it was on sale
Wait so this whole time the broke butterfly was this OP and I fucking missed out on the chance to completely body all these boss fights in the OG RE4 with it
Once you buy infinite RPG you put everything in the depot except the magnum you prefer and all you do is collect and buy what you need to create magnum ammunition all the other ammunition you sell and finish the game with magnum and infinite RPG in the inventory
The reload for this weapon was butchered so bad. Not sure why they reused the line for the purchase of this weapon. Leon reloads like a granny with this weapon.

You can see Ashley holding her ears because the sound of the gun
She does that for every gun. Even the screaming loud Bolt thrower. Made me crack a smile when I saw that.

@@RazorPhoenix7 laser sight, fast reloading, 16 ammo in each magazine. Plus the aim for the BB and handcannon sucks
Guess the killer7 is still, a real gem of an automatic pistol.
Killer7 also has 5X headshot damage with the exclusive. Which makes the broken butterfly somewhat a lesser and weaker version of the gun.
@@azraelthegod8388 Damn Killer 7 now has Exclusive upgrades?

I was thinking the same thing man when I was playing the original RE4 game
Broken butterfly
Exclusive
Firepower 50.00 (OG)
Firepower 27.0 x 1.5 = 40.5 (remake)
So essentially they nerfed the magnums... damn... that's sad tbh
Bro that is just an arbitrary number, what if the bosses have more health in the remake? The you have to shot them more in order to kill them compared to og re4.
@@AnimeNinjaKing they're still absolute powerhouses on professional, that's like a 1 bullet difference for some bosses.

The crit multiplier for the K7 is 2x, dataminers have already found out the multipliers for all weapons on crits. Pistols its 3x, Magnums are 2x.
It is 2x dude 😂. In my play through I killed Krauser with 6 killer 7 bullets. Broken is the most broken gun here.
I love this game and played the hell outta both versions. My favorite weapons have always been the magnum handguns but the infinite rocket launcher is alot of fun 😁
broken butterfly has the strongest FIREPOWER with exclusive upgrade (40.5) stronger than handcannon (36) and killer 7 (28)
Yup

Im doing my first playthrough on hardcore. Gold chicken egg+2 magnum shots killed salazar. It is maxed+exclusive upgraded

Was never fussed about using the magnums on the PS2 version, thought I'd upgrade the Killer 7 on this new remake, I've missed out for a long time lol
love the video and i really like that you showed what things the bosses drop
6:30 you can actually kill Verdugo? Wtf I unloaded EVERYTHING I had into him(giggidy) and I hoarded ammo and gernades. Dudes tough.
He is though even on standard I used everything sentinel 9 stingray alot of health on mofo even if you use liquid nitrogen
I often wondered how the Salazar took down Las Plagas in the past, but if they had many Broken Butterfly, that's explain why.
Amazing game

you can make the ammo... for one
@@Jamplays592fr with charms also. That or probably played the hell out of this game and farmed for the ammo😂
you can craft it?
I did not know in the final boss that you could onto the other platforms and I still beat it on the first platform.
I hate that they didn't bring back the og broken butterfly design and reload animation
When I first fought the Garrador in the remake, I killed it with ONE shot from the Broken Butterfly. I didn't level it up at all.
Now that is Broken weapon
RE4 gets a lot of improvement with its remake yes.
