Finish the game, on hardcore to be sure, then buy the weapon from The Merchant with 2 Million Pesetas.
On the original you just had to finish the game on any difficulty then buy it for 2 mil on your next playthrough

Once you use the rocket launher it's gone from your inventory. You can buy one from the merchant but has one shot and also vanishes once used.

you missed a Dr. Salvador at the village, if you try to escape via the farm before you go into the house with the shotgun, you will trigger an extra Salvador, kill him and enter the shotgun house, then the usual Salvador will appear(this works in both classic and remake). but bear in mind that you have to kill the extra one before entering the shotgun house to trigger the usual one. because the game only limits one of them to chase you
and BTW, the right way of shooting the rocket and to shot it onto the ground in front of you enemy, that way, you wont miss even if the enemy decided to dodge at the last second

The rocket launcher can still be annoying at times because you can’t always use it in close combat, which why I use the Killer 7 and the Riot shotgun instead as my only close combat weapons

Bro when in mendez chasing scene, i have shot him about 10 time with rpg, but it was nothing instead of kill him it just took up his hat. Mendez was truly powerfull antagonize hahaha
I could imagine if rocket launcher are reloadable (RPG-7 type), the rocket ammo was add and it take 1x3 space unstackable
Seeing an infinite rocket launcher definitely makes me want to buy this game and try for platinum, even for my average level gamer status. Although I'm sure it will not be an easy task. Regardless the rocket launcher will be much fun even if I can't platinum it.
I’m normally not too good at games, bought this and had the time of my life. Currently on my second play through and working towards the rocket launcher. I recommend getting it! Phenomenal game 😊

Or you can buy a cheap add-on that unlocks all achievement items/stuff.
Honestly much more fun this way. Nervously replaying the same game over and over again turns into a frustrating borefest and removes the main appeal of a GAME (that being fun).

the verdugo is actually the only enemy that will survive a single hit of the rocket launcher if he isn't dipped in nitrogen first. Krauser just has a new hp bar on every spot so it looks like he is surviving but he isn't.
