It’s so amazing watching this guy become something special. Like he only started with guitar 2 YEARS AGO and this dude has already been so crucial to a lot of our discovery.
I’ve been subscribed to Aaron’s channel since 3,000 subscribers. It’s bittersweet for me. It’s like watching my favorite band become mainstream! Kind of frustrating cuz I felt like I had an inside secret to something special, and now the secret is out. But so happy for the attention he’s getting.. cuz he deserves it. So much time put into this channel, awesome productions and texture, obviously awesome content and subject matter, and tons of talent.
only 2 years and now he has so much knowledge about gear and tone and it’s crazy. crazy to think about the fact that i’ve been playing guitar for longer than someone i look up to and learn a lot from
The intro music to this video is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. Last summer there was a huge fire right next to my farm and I can remember listening to this intro music out in my shop while I was fixing an old amp trying to take my mind off the fire. It perfectly captured the emotions I was experiencing. The fear, depression and uncertainty of what was going to happen next. A couple days later I recorded drums over it and doubled it into a song and it is such a beautiful piece of music. Aaron you are a genius. Keep doing what you are doing.
My band once opened for Arabrot and they shared the cabs with us. I played one of their Hiwatt cabs with Fane speakers in it and it was one of the best sounding cabs I ever heard.
Goddmn i've written somenthing so similar to the song you put in the first part of the video, and it drives me crazy that we wrote the same darn harmony and melody maybe just bc we listen to nirvana a ton. Great vid
Your videos are making me genuinely happy. I don't know if it's because of the cinematic quality or your level of commitment but thanks man ! Keep up the amazing work! Cheers !
I always love your vids man! Please consider releasing impulse responses, that would make it amazing for all of us and we’d totally pay for it considering the speakers you find are super rare!
If you interview Albini, I can’t wait for it, you’ll ask great question and on top of that you know your stuff so he’ll be more than open about it with you, more than he usually is and on top of that it’ll be great content as always from you.
Some notable people who believe Kurt Cobain was murdered: - Norm Stamper (Seattle Chief of Police at the time of Kurt's death in 1994, now sadly retired) - Tom Grant (Courtney Love's P.I) - Hank Harrisson (Courtney Love's Father) - Leland Cobain (Kurt's Grandfather and closest family member at the time of his death in 1994) - Rosemary Carroll (Kurt and Courtney's Attorney in 1994) - Dr. Cyril Wecht (Leading and Veteran Forensic Pathologist who has studied the case in detail) There are others, including Kurt and Courtney's Nanny from March 1994 who also thinks it was murder, but the above are the most notable.
I ve done series/parallel/split coil wiring for my classic vibe mustang, in parallel mode it sounds extremely close to heart shaped box tone. I dont have video of recreating it exactly the same but i have video with heart shaped box tuned -2 and some chorus, i just like that kind of sound. Hot rail in parallel wiring mode sound bright and dynamic as single coil but alot better!
wtf that quad reverb really hit the nail on the head, i knew it was always a quad reverb fuckin knew it drop your big nirvana bomb already @Aaron Rash.
Hey Aaron. You said in this video that you don't really like the sound of hot rails in mustangs. Do you have a recommendation for an alternative? I currently have a seymour duncan lil' 59 and i don't really like the sound of it.
Can you say who you went with for the aluminum guitar build? I have an electrical guitar company neck on a jazz bass and love it. Have recorded their guitars and basses and they're definitely supreme.
It would be amazing if you made a website like gilmourish with all your findings. This is very useful and interesting. For example I need to know the wiring for the jaguar and mustang. Pot and caps values =)
So.. You try to record simillar guitar sounds to the tones we know from mixed and mastered album. I don't think it's possibile. Great videos btw, thank you!
You probably know this, but Drain you is actually 5 guitar tracks, 2 bassman, 2 mesa, and 1 center track with a pedal on the bassman. when bitch vig goes over this in a nevermind doc, he actually isolated the tracks, you may be able to use this as a reference: ruclips.net/video/KRK6c7uXvJE/видео.html Also i know generally a speaker is where the guitar tone is at in an amp, but maybe the bassman speakers sound different when plugged into a regular guitar amp opposed to bass amp. Idk, just a thought.
Have you always played a bit of guitar or other instruments? Im confused on how you know so much about sound design and recording. This channel is amazing! Thank you.
you absolutely NEED TO release an album or something man i absolutely love your style of playing
PLEASE DOOO
It’s just nirvana lol
@@midnite_in_november which nirvana song might it be
@@midnite_in_november nirvana inspired but totally his own thing
I swear this guy always hits with the intros! Keep it up man!
Meg Myers - Desire 😊
Reminded me of polvo
I swear, that intro needs to be turned into an actual song, I legit got goosebumps when I listened to that!
You and albini talking.....can't wait
This is a cinematic masterpiece!
Yeah. Really well shot and edited

Right… how original. To rip someone off. All for the likes.

Please release music in your intro style, youd instantly jump up to my favourites
I always love your vids man! Please consider releasing impulse responses, that would make it amazing for all of us and we’d totally pay for it considering the speakers you find are super rare!
Awesome video man!
Wow that sound ❤️

You always say “this probably isn’t the most exciting video ever” then it turn out to be literally the most exciting video ever!
all aaron's videos are masterpieces
The intro is so amazing and i hope he will make an album.
Your vids really make me want to move out to the Pacific Northwest
that intro was amazing
awesome video man! i cant imagine how long these take to make.
release a album bro UR SO GOODDDD
We got Meloduende here in France , who build aluminum guitars. Scott Holiday from Rival Sons have one from Meloduende
Great video once again. HSB does sound like it has that aluminum tone to it now after watching this. Very Ape you can really tell.
Like always I'd say, it's fricking perfect
Aaron ur just something the human race hasnt studied yet ur are amazing and ur music is superb
that Nada Surf riff at the end! YES
Bravo at recreating the Heart Shaped Box tone
Another sick track in the intro Aaron. Come on please release your music man

He can't keep getting away with this
What is that song in the outro?!?!? Sounds so fucking good
Great analytics, besides like your sound/music a lot
Very exciting
That intro was fuking sick, so dark and deep
you need to release all the music your making on these video's on spotify
Hey Aaron great work with the tone in your videos, next could you try nirvana's Incesticide next
Hey man great video! Was wondering if you’d ever do tutorials for the tone of the Smashing Pumpkins?
Спасибо! Очень крутые видео!!!
I'm waiting for the day when you get to record an album.
You should make a video about the Sunn beta lead, kurt used one early on I think. Really cool amp
I would seriously love an Ep/Album of all of these snippets you use in your intros and whatnot they seriously are good stuff.
This man needs more subs wtf
Love your music style, you gotta release some music
drive carefully. Always a great video production and good music. In the end you have not modified the jaguar
Omg I'm hyped
Since you like that amp and it can't be used to mimic Kurt's recordings, that's the one I recommend using for your music.
Sounds good! Have you tried the tone cloning stuff fractal has to get the sound?
wtf that quad reverb really hit the nail on the head, i knew it was always a quad reverb fuckin knew it
drop your big nirvana bomb already @Aaron Rash.

What speakers are in the quad? Love your vids!
Please, man, make IRs and sell them! I WILL buy.
Can you say who you went with for the aluminum guitar build? I have an electrical guitar company neck on a jazz bass and love it. Have recorded their guitars and basses and they're definitely supreme.

Headed to the UPS distribution center in Redmond 😂
A friend in Las Vegas just listed two Marshall cabs from the 90's w G12-75 speakers. Thought I'd pass on the info.
So.. You try to record simillar guitar sounds to the tones we know from mixed and mastered album. I don't think it's possibile. Great videos btw, thank you!
I'd lov eto see full versions of these intro tracks
@Aaron_Rash shut up you scammer
Would love to see you recreate unplugged tone. Thanks for the videos
OH MY! That would be amazing!
I always thought heart shaped box was done with a hi flier. JQ guitars did a hi flier video and hsb there sounds identical...
You probably know this, but Drain you is actually 5 guitar tracks, 2 bassman, 2 mesa, and 1 center track with a pedal on the bassman. when bitch vig goes over this in a nevermind doc, he actually isolated the tracks, you may be able to use this as a reference: ruclips.net/video/KRK6c7uXvJE/видео.html

can you please make a tutorial with some of your video intros? i find them so inspiring
Bro can you PLEASE tell me how to get ur tone on the intros bro I’m tryna mess with some dark mysterious sht!!!🙏🤘
What's your recording gear? mics, preamp? amazing tone!
Song at the end of the video: "Popular" by Nada Surf
Love the videos but you NEED to recreate that tone on Dive from insecticide.
Have you always played a bit of guitar or other instruments? Im confused on how you know so much about sound design and recording. This channel is amazing! Thank you.
he is an audio engineer and piano player!
i'm willing to pay money for a full version of the song played in the intro by you
same!
SAME, that song in the beginning is so good, we need a full version
thanks for this. are there comfort cuts on the Ferrington? whats the width of the body in mm? where can i get info on the electronics?
