    Awesome collection. It's cool to see more obscure systems in your collection. I am currently putting together my own game room and came across this video. Thanks for posting. I always get excited/jealous watching game collection videos. Awesome video!

    So happy to see that you have Dark Wizard for Sega CD, probably my favorite game for the system! I have the exact same problem, I also live in an apartment with my fiancée and our collection is scattered... everywhere, lol. Enjoyed seeing some of your top picks from each collection as well!

    I agree with Lifespiller79 that seeing other peoples video game collections can spark new ideas in getting games you have never played before.
    You are the second person I know that likes Legend of Dragoon. I will download it off the PS3 or PS Vita next chance I get.
    Thanks for showing your collection, Pam. I was impressed with it. You have almost everything in home consoles except for SNES, but that probably is do to both you & Will not growing up with it & maybe lack of room.

    • @Cannotbetamed1
      @Cannotbetamed1  8 лет назад

      +Dusty Robinson We had a smaller SNES collection, but those got traded. He grew up with Sega and I skipped from NES to PS1 so, while it's got some great games, it's not a console that is super meaningful to either of us. We also don't have N64 games anymore. Though I did have that console when it was current, I find those games almost unplayable now between the weird controller and polygon-based games aging very badly.

    • @dustman820
      @dustman820 8 лет назад

      +Cannot be Tamed I understand. I have fond memories of the NES, Genesis, Sega CD (I had a CDX), & SNES. My family lived next door to a pawn shop, so I was able to get systems we couldn't afford new.
      My brother bought a PS1 a few months after it came out & we loved the game library on it from the word go. The Saturn & Dreamcast is not as meaningful to me. My brother bought a Saturn when it got cheaper & came with Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop 2, & Daytona USA, but because of lack of games we wanted to play on it, he took it back & payed more for a N64. I never had a Dreamcast.
      I also understand about the N64 controller. I like it just fine, but can understand if anyone has problems with it. Nintendo did better with the Gamecube controller.

    Hello! Great collection you got there! A couple of things: 1) You ever been told you look like Elisha Dushku? 2)Very impressive tour! Especially how neat and tidy the collections are. Unlike other collector's they are just all clustered. 3) Your collection mixed with your BF, you ever thought about Dual game tour perhaps on your 5K subs milestones? 5) Holy shit!! I never knew Ronald McDonald has his own video game!! lol Great vid! Subscribed!

    Congrats again on the 2.5K. I really like the diversity in your collection(s).
    Everything you've got seems to be in almost flawless condition - is condition something you target when purchasing/trading or are you content with flawed labels/manuals/cases if the game is a "must own" in your eyes?

    • @Cannotbetamed1
      @Cannotbetamed1  8 лет назад

      +Musty Hobbit Thank you! I'm not too picky about condition, though I care about it more the more valuable the game is. Badly ripped labels/artwork is the only thing I'll really avoid. Will cares about it more than I do. Will buys a lot of cheap Genesis/Saturn/Sega CD games so he can use their cases to replace cracked/damaged cases from games we already have.

    A lot of nice titles in the video, but then I checked out your boyfriend's instagram, and there is a whoooooooooole lot of really top-shelf stuff there! Just a steady stream of 'Good, good ... good ... oohhh ... good' and nodding. And seeing all the pick-ups and how they fit on those shelves, that's a really compact, clean setup. Also, if he's looking to have the Duo modded for RGB, I know of a great modder that worked on my Duo-R.

    • @Cannotbetamed1
      @Cannotbetamed1  8 лет назад

      +TGApuleius I'm hoping I can get him on here to talk about some of his favourite titles at some point. The Duo's having its capacitors replaced right now.

    • @TGApuleius
      @TGApuleius 8 лет назад

      That would be nice, especially considering the quality of many of the pick-ups. Capacitors are a huge pain for them. I read he's getting it done for $70-75 -- that's a good price. I definitely paid more when I had to get them done for both the Duo and Duo-R.

    Nice little set up Pam. I see the Kinivo HDMI switch in the TV stand. Have one of those myself. So handy.
    Saturn collection looks quite extensive and in very nice condition too. Everything neatly stored. Nice tour! :)
    Echo Night and Echo Night Beyond are both quite cool games. Haunting Ground I'm actually playing through right now for the first time. If you like Clock Tower, Haunting Ground is for you.
    Also, a thumbs up for having Folklore as well. :) Do you happen to have Eternal Sonata on 360 or PS3? Very charming and stylish RPG imo.

    Nice collection! And you have an Xeye! That's awesome! I've wanted one of those for a long time! I only have my model 2 with the 32X and all the add-ons and stuff. I only have about 20 Genesis games but I should get more. I've been meaning to play some Genesis RPGs. There aren't THAT many of them but some are pretty good. I've only played about half of Crusader of Centy and Landstalker but I aim to finish those when I finish my current Ocarina and Majora playthroughs. I like action adventure RPGs, as you can probably tell. I have about 500 games myself but some are in storage. Small apartment, you know how it goes. I've been working on getting all the Neo-Geo stuff I can get lately. Don't know if you're a fan but I loves me some Neo-Geo.
    Anyway, I have a quick question if you don't mind. Do you play much on your PC? You didn't really mention it. I assume you have a Steam account though. Do you use a keyboard/mouse setup or do you prefer controllers? I just have a PS2-type controller hooked up right now and that works well for me. It's my favorite layout to this day.

    • @Cannotbetamed1
      @Cannotbetamed1  8 лет назад

      +Hezekiah Ramirez I do play on PC. I prefer console when I have an option (for everything except point and click adventure), but I play a lot of indie games on PC on Steam. Lately I've been playing Heroes of the Storm, The Talos Principle, Technobabylon, and I finally finished with Darkest Dungeon after too many hours.
      I prefer controllers (I use a 360 controller), though I don't have one set up permanently at my PC due to space and USB port limitations and I often just use mouse and keyboard.

    Awesome collection!! Your Genesis collection looks a lot like mine, though you may have a few more games than me. Nice PS1 & PS2 collection as well. Do you have Vagrant Story for PS1? It's a great game, but pretty tough.
    Do you guys have any SNES games?
    And my heart sank when you said that you traded Flintstones and Panic Restaurant; but that's just the hoarder in me. It would pain me to part with any of my games--even the bad ones. Love all of the shooters that you guys own! Congratulations on 2,500 subs!!

      +Westapo: Video Games and Loud Music Thanks! I think we had Vagrant story a week ago. It's gone now, traded for TurboGrafx stuff.
      We were going for a full NES set, had around 500 games, even had most of the priciest ones, but realised that because there are so many NES games we were still very far away. And there were a lot of bad games that would cost a lot of money. Will decided to redirect his attention to Saturn since it meant more to him, and I was just happy to no longer have 400 games that neither of us would ever play.

    As far as other good Xbox 360 RPG's/games you should check out... Blue Dragon, Ninety Nine Nights, Tales of Vesperia, Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remenant, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, Magna Carta 2, Spectral Force 3, Enchanted Arms & Culdcept Saga..Also checkout Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack The Ripper, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, DeathSmiles, Akai Katana, Left 4 Dead series

      I tried Infinite Undiscovery (what a weird name), Magna Carta and Last Remnant, but didn't really like them. I love the Sherlock Holmes games. I've played Deathsmiles, Akai Katana (love those) and Left 4 Dead too.

      Lost Odyssey is a stellar game which I noticed you have. Along with TheBadcompany25, I'd have to recommend Blue Dragon which was also made by Sakaguchi through Mistwalker. It's excels in charm and artistic style imo.
      Wasn't a very big fan of Infinite Undiscovery myself. I have only the Tales series, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey on 360.

    You seem to appreciate JRPGs... Have you played monster world 4 (of the wonder boy series) for megadrive? You should add that to your list of genesis games to tackle, it's good stuff. You should also consider playing those working design games (specifically the lunars and dragon force) Where is shining force 3 for Sega Saturn? How have you not played Suikoden 1 - 5 PSX - PS2 (You can cross over completed saves from 1 to 2 and get some really cool in game bonuses... Also, castlevania symphony of the night.. but i figure everyone knows about that one. These are all incredible games...if you haven't played them, don't overlook them!!! You'll be missing out :)

    I love seeing Classic Concentration on there - that was the other game my mom and I got alongside Super Mario/Duck Hunt when we got the console. I also had Home Alone and my God was it dreadful - but at least amusingly so.

      +Jeremy Peeples I played Classic Concentration so much. I put it on a couple months ago and I only had to uncover one, maybe 2 squares before I was able to guess all the puzzle because somehow I still had them memorized.

    There was another run and shoot (shmup) for the PS1. It was developed by Media Vision when they developed Wild Arms simultaneously. The title is Gunners Heaven in Japan and Rapid Reload in Europe. It was released the week after the PS1 launch in Europe along with Air Combat from namco.
    There were more shmup games in Japan for the PS1 like Raiden, Darius series, couple amount of Twinbee games from Konami, and Thunderforce V from Technosoft.

    • @Cannotbetamed1
      @Cannotbetamed1  8 лет назад

      H.Brandt yeah, there are lots of shmups in the PS1, I meant to say it's the only Squaresoft shmup.

    • @TheGoldenPS1
      @TheGoldenPS1 8 лет назад

      +Cannot be tamed There were some technical issues to get games from TecnoSoft to get localized outside of Japan in the early of the fifth gen. Sega Saturn had the superior multiplat versions. Even before Playstation fanboys are saying Saturn was hard to program for, it had a superior sound chip on paper and a elegant architecture if you know how to utilize the Saturn's hardware. It was the most powerful system of all three (PS1, Saturn, N64).
      I remember Sony in the West said they didn't wanted straight forward 2D games on their platform in its early life cycle, which is a shame. We could have more shmup and beat em up games from Japan despite that we will get the inferior versions.
      Many talks about how last gen was the dark age of gaming, but that's simply not true. The early years of the PS2 was the dark age for small developers in Japan to survive. When AA/AAA development started to increase by demand of Ken Kutaragi the small developers that brought us Thunderforce, Cool Boarders went out of business. Konami's shitty business practices started to appear. Sony cut off their internal structure in Japan for first party. A beginning of a bad start for the upcoming next gen in terms of quality Japanese games. Stuff we got on PS2 were gone on PS3. What happened to Shadow Hearts? It's hostage at Universal Entertainment Inc (ex Aruze). We got Arms' Heart for PSP instead (lol) by Machida. A big disappointment coming from the creator of SH. Stayed in Japan and was never localized like most PSP games.
      I seriously don't like handhelds so I'm glad Sony has abandoned their handheld division for good. As I enjoyed most first party games from Sony on PS1.

    What is your take on the Retron 5 if you don't mind me asking? I own a snes, nes and genesis and keep it in the second bedroom of my apartment but have been thinking about getting a retron 5 to play those games out in the main living room. Great video and amazing collection. You really do need to sink your teeth into splatterhouse btw!

    • @Cannotbetamed1
      @Cannotbetamed1  8 лет назад

      +MrFlyingSnakes I really like the Retron, I use it all the time for NES and Genesis. I like how the games look on it, it and there are a bunch of different filters to use (or not), scanlines can be turned on or off. It's easier to record game footage since it uses HDMI. Plus save states are great. I've had mine for over a year and the only problem I've ever had with it is that some SNES controllers do not work with it.

    • @MrFlyingSnakes
      @MrFlyingSnakes 8 лет назад

      +Cannot be Tamed It sounds like a pretty good deal. When you mention certain controllers that don't work are you referring to 1st party controllers in your collection, or 3rd party controllers, or after market controllers? I appreciate the response and the level of detail you put in your videos.

    • @Cannotbetamed1
      @Cannotbetamed1  8 лет назад

      MrFlyingSnakes 1st party controllers. At first I thought the SNES controller ports were broken and I took it to a friend's store and tried about 10 different 1st party controllers on it. Some worked, some didn't.

    • @MrFlyingSnakes
      @MrFlyingSnakes 8 лет назад

      +Cannot be Tamed That is really bizarre. Some of the features alone sound really cool (the filters). Congrats on your milestone. Looking forward to more of your videos.
