When you’re on tv you can just sling poo with no accountability. It’s easy to complain and tear down, it’s much harder to come up w solutions to build things that will stand the test of time.

Those manufacturing jobs are never coming back unless the US worker is prepared to make $6 an hour like a Chinese worker can. And don't call the Chinese workers slaves their cost of living is drastically lower than that in the United States. This is not about China and the US; this is about the conflict between socialism and capitalism, eastern value and western value, and individualism and collectivism. Capitalism can only survive under democracy, and man is not good enough for socialism as a whole; China needs reform because the Chinese are not good enough for socialism, but capitalism is inherently evil. This is not new, it's again a struggle between ideologies and wrestling between the values of justice.

High paid labor CAN make low cost goods. But...Instead of profits going into the hands of the top .1%....profits will HAVE to be shared with their workers....and their consumers. NOW...all the profits gained by the top .1% by making things THERE (using cheap labor) and selling things (HERE)... in a wealthy consumer market... go in the top .1%'s pockets. That money is "paid for" by American workers (who have lost their job) and American consumers who are buying their products. THAT HAS TO STOP. And the way to stop it is through tariffs first and negotiations second. If negotiations fail the tariffs MUST be cranked up to bring unbalanced trade ratios....into balance.
