I am a music major and I convinced my instructors that for my last recital I sang Lilium from Elfen Lied. Absolutely haunting. I love seeing the place it was born
When I was I Japan for 2 months this summer I visited Kamakura for a day and I still can't get over how absolutely beautiful it was... Almost kinda felt like I was walking around in a ghibli movie or something!
jolly jojo lol that sentence needs work xD but seriously I just comment my opinions on most of the videos I watch is all. And we might be subbed to the same people so that's why.
It's fun to see this trip from two different perspectives you and Aki tend to focus on different things and use different type of music for you videos it's fun to compare and contrast thanks for sharing hope you guys had fun
This is so painful to see, because I was there in October, but now I see that I missed the best spots. But hey, more plans for the next trip this year! Nice video, keep it up!
The Kamkura area is a very beautiful place to visit. There are a number of places I'd love to revisit in Japan, that area being one of them. Speaking of things that are in anime, they Cicadas that are used in many of the rural scenes in anime are only half as loud as they are in real life. and those sea hawks will snatch food right out of your hands! :P
I am crazily into scenes in animes inspired by true life just having a feeling that I truely live in the same worlds as my favourite characters and that's amazing ^^
That Buddha statue at the end is also at the anime Minami Kamakura High School Cycling Club, the place is totally alike it's bacause the title has "Kamakura High School" on it, LOL 😂😂😂
I like the aesthetics of these kind of videos. Love the angles and camera movements. The music is soothing too, which goes well with the video. 10/10 ❤️
AMAZING music *check* AMAZING shots *check* AMAZING editing *check* im in love with this video, AMAZING joey! more of this pls *_* you've gotten so much better at making these vlog video's
Please make more videos like this, as in, places where anime took that setting from. So far I only know the ones from the anime Tamayura Hitotose and Tamayura More Aggressive. This should be done more, it's great to see places in real life where the anime setting was taken from. It gaves this one feeling that you are in the anime as well hahahahaha.
The anime that comes to mind for me when talking about Enoshima is actually the fishing one that came out last year. That Shirasu eatery you filmed earlier was straight up in it.
I first went to Enoshima because of Tsuritama and I really fell in love with the island. Now I always plan a day trip there whenever I'm in Japan. This video made me want to rewatch Tsuritama and Tari Tari.
1 view and 1 like? Never been this early! But I was taking too much time trying to come up with something interesting to say, and now it has like a 1500 views...damn.
I love these kind of videos where you (with aki or other friends) go to these place (anime related or not) and just film it and explore it. Its so nice and calming and the music 👌 I hope you make more of this! Love from Turkey

I'd really like to go to Gokurakuji one day, it looks like an interesting place to pay a visit to (not only because of the places that were used in Elfen Lied). Nice video, Joey; music and editing are super smooth. Great job, have a thumbs up, mate! :)
Great video. I would really like to see more of these! It's so cool and interesting to see where some authors get their inspiration from, and seeing as I can't go for myself, it's a great way to see the other side of the world/ different culture! Thanks again Joey!
I'm in my second year of high school and I do japan, it made me happy when I could read all the hiragana and some of the katakana. I live in New Zealand some I'm 15 in my second year. I'm going to japan in the next 2 years for the Rugby world cup.

When I visited kamakura i saw jakenbake at the beach. I was there for a fireworks festival. It was a highlight of my trip.

6:35 ELFEN LIED ITS BEEN SO LONG. Who else got a super nostalgia boner when you heard that OP music?
For some reason, whenever i hear elfen lied's op, the phrase "I need to poo" comes up in my head, is that normal?
Sebastian With Parkour I got a girl boner
;_;
lol Milos cant be girls because of that one particular radical feminist cough.
Sebastian With Parkour figures Felis
Goosebumps when the TariTari OST was playing. Made me tear up a bit, it is still one of my favorite animes.
This is so painful to see, because I was there in October, but now I see that I missed the best spots. But hey, more plans for the next trip this year!

Okay...I have to say it....Kamakura, Kamakura, yas queen!!!!!
The Kamkura area is a very beautiful place to visit. There are a number of places I'd love to revisit in Japan, that area being one of them.
