Bad feed from in car cameras.If it is a signal problem, they should not show the feed during this segment of the track location,If that is a drone way up in the sky,it`s a wasted place for it to be during the racing action. It seems that the camera crew and the announcers are not on the same page, so to speak, causing disjointed coverage of the racing action, making it almost unwatchable. The video director must be an unpaid college student.
Back to it being the "Johnathan yelling show" literally can't hear the sound of the engines with hundreds of horsepower. Either the sound mixing is off or less commentary. Australian trans does it properly. Rick Benjamin had it right back in the day. Please Trans Am I love you.......
You are not alone in your thinking. Many in the TA paddock share your same view. I'll suggest something similar to what NASCAR does during their broadcast: A segment where they focus on one car for a lap with nothing but engine sound.
The absolute lack of replays of passes or "wrecks" makes the race coverage sub-standard. Perhaps the director could watch a Australian Supercars race to see how it is done... The in-car cams breaking up is annoying and needs to be rectified.
I wish they had the TA cars in some racing sims

Dyson and Grissi have new cars to the new rules. Ruman's car was originally built in 2007 which impresses me that the team does as well as they do.

Totally agree, been binge watching this seasons races and the directing is badly done. Heads must roll

THE Australian Trans am series sucks. All the makes run stinkin' chev engines which makes it impossible for a Ford fan to watch...
