Love your dress. You did a beautiful job on it. Oh, Addy June, you are so beautiful in your Easter dress. What a sweet looking family. Josh, you clean up quite nicely. I'm with you, Tiffany. With the exception of working at the church tomorrow, I will be hiding out at home. Enjoy the eclipse.

What a beautiful dress! Your family is just lovely. You did such a beautiful job with Addie’s dress too!! I love all of the different elements. They are perfect together. I miss having tiny ones to sew for. That is my favorite thing to sew. My daughter that’s 10 loves little kids. She’s so sweet with them. God has gifted her with an outgoing bubbly personality. I’m going to start teaching her to sew. I taught a class in Evansville when we lived near there. Someone gave me 8 sewing machines. I’m thinking about doing a sewing camp for kids. I serviced them and they work great. Well I better go. Love, Liz
Your dress is gorgeous and it looks beautiful on you! Addie's dress and bonnet look so intricate and like they came from a fancy boutique! I love seeing all the pics of the cows too. Thanks for sharing them. Im looking forward to your buying month and living through you vicariously 😅. I will be in PT during the eclipse on Monday. I live in Pennsylvania and we are in the 90-95% area but I'm still with you about avoiding the crowds. We had an earthquake this morning here but it was mild. Im working on the Sylvan jacket by Sew Liberated right now. Take care.

Hello, Gail! Thank you so much for watching and for the vote for the video on my Abingdon! Hope you’re having a great start to your week, Gail! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Both Easter dresses are beautiful! You did a great job on them. I can identify with having a disaster of a sewing room. I made another Harper cardigan this week. I tend to have stuff everywhere when I'm in the middle of a project.
Oh, you all look wonderful and I hope you had a happy and blessed Easter Day! Little Bo Peep's dress is perfect and so is the one you made for yourself, Tiffany - the fabric, the pattern and the fit are all just right and it is lovely on you! I remember my mother crying the night before Easter one year while she tried to finish a powder blue suit with covered buttons she was making - she got it done, but not without a few tears along the way! We had an earthquake here in Pennsylvania yesterday as well as in neighboring states - luckily there were no injuries and I have to say, it was actually pretty exciting, since no one got hurt. Reminds us that we are not in control of the natural world but only get to appreciate it. Welcome, baby Bunny - a cute little name for what will no doubt become a pretty big guy!
Hello, Mary! Thank you so much for watching and for such a sweet comment, your kindness has meant so much to me! Aw, your poor Mother! I completely understand that panic sewing before a big event. I’m so glad she finished her outfit! Wow! I’m so thankful you and everyone affected by the earthquake are ok! Mercy! I would have been so scared! You’re so right, nature does its own thing! Thanks so much for chatting with me, Mary, I hope you’re having a great weekend! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Your dress turned out beautifully Tiffany, and I like that you lined it. Something that I need to master. It looks very elegant and Addy’s outfit is amazing. Lovely family photos too. We had a a few days down south last week and I had a little spend on fabric at a Crafters event I attended. 😮 All purchases are linked to a planned garment though - honest! 😀! More about that at the end of the month. Have a good week. Enjoy your sewing 🤗
Hello, Jan! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment! Lining a garment was such a hard thing for me to tackle, I was so intimidated by it. Using patterns that walk you through the process was a great confidence booster for me! Oooo, new fabrics, how wonderful! And you have projects lined up for each, so smart! Thanks so much for sharing with me, Jan! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Make sure you get the glasses for the solar eclipse . I went to the last one in Kansas City and it was amazing! Your Easter dresses are beautiful! Live the baby cows
Hello, Kathy! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment! Yes, definitely have those glasses handy! I’ve got pairs for my whole family. We’re excited to experience it from the comfort of home, haha! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Kathy! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hello, Cindy! Thank you so much for watching! Oh, I didn’t even think about the eclipse’s effects on our animals, I’ll have to keep a close eye on our cows. Yes, at home is the best place to be 🥰 Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Cindy! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Dress3s are adorable especially your beautiful daughter. She looks like a picture postcard.the calves are adorable as well. If you are able please video the eclipse I really want to see it as I am in UK ❤❤❤
Hello, Anne! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment, it means the world to me! I will definitely try to video it for next Friday, I’m not sure how much my camera will pick up, but I will definitely try! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Anne! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Tiffany, Beautiful dress! I have not attempted shirring yet. My Cloth and Notch Wren blouse is underway. My fabric has a beautiful woven texture but it is shear. I will be making something to wear under it. I’m hoping to get it finished tomorrow. We will have our three children here with their families for this eclipse. We are in the path of totality, so my yard or my daughter’s yard is perfect!
Hello, Cheryl! Aw, I can’t wait to hear about your experience with the Wren! I’ve put mine on hold for Disney sewing but maybe I’ll bring it back out with the inspiration you provide! I hope you have an amazing weekend with your family enjoying the eclipse, Cheryl! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hi Tiffany, your dress looks so pretty on you and of course so does Addie’s. You did a wonderful job on both. Such a nice family picture and perfect for Easter. And what fun to have a new calf! Bunny is a sure sign of spring and new life! As for my sewing week it wasn’t the best. My Montrose dress did not work. It wasn’t the fit it was the fabric, it is just too fragile. Even though I have experience with this fabric in the past and the website I bought it from said knit dresses in the recommended garments. I had a nervous feeling about it from the beginning but since I had made the pattern with a knit for my wearable muslin I decided to go ahead. I should have followed my gut instinct about it. It makes a wonderful top because I made a top from the same fabric two years ago. Anyway it got holes in it when I was making adjustments and it just wasn’t repairable and I knew it wasn’t going to be wearable. I have gotten over my disappointment and I’m ready to move on. I will let you know what I start next. I know it will be fun! I hope you have a wonderful sewing weekend. As always thank you for sharing with us ❤️
Hello, Cynthia! Found your comment! I’m so sorry about your disappointment in your sewing project! I know that can so discouraging. The fabric can make or break our entire project and that can be so frustrating. But I so appreciate your positive outlook, looking forward to the next fun project, love that! Thanks so much for sharing with me, Cynthia, can’t wait to hear what project you begin next! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
That dress is amazing! So sweet that you named your adorable calf Bunny! Such a blessing on Easter! Addy’s dress and bonnet were so adorable. I didn’t actually do much of anything with sewing this weekend. I did get my 2nd sloper done for sloper school. Week 3 is shoulders and I am lucky enough not to have to make any shoulder adjustments, so I got a break. I have not been brave enough to try shirring yet, so I appreciate your advice on not making this a first project. Have a great week!
Hello, Angie! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment, it means so very much to me! Oh you have been busy with that sloper school, that keeps you hopping! It sounds like such a great experience to find the perfect fit for your body! I’m glad you had an easy shoulder experience though, that gives you a break🥰 Thanks so much for sharing with me, Angie, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Hello dear Tiffany. I got through my surgery on Tuesday. Thank you for prayers. I’m home! PTL. It’s been rough going but trying to gather my strength each hr. Takes some patience too in trying to getup n move! But I’m doing ok. P t today. Eeewwkk! I’ll keep you informed. You’re my friend now on here. My daughter is here from Fla helping me but she’s not quite got the things I have to do for moving around,, my other daughter did that before. But she’s learning n I have my hubs too, helps with lifting n maunerving me around. Sewing? None? Your dress is so pretty. Love it. So glad you got it finished for Easter. I’ll try to get my daughter to send you a message n you can see me dressed for Easter too. Take care and hope all are well. Thinking of you while sewing,,, I’m feeling the itch to stitch. lol. Be a while yet I fear but I’ll work towards it. Blessings, Nancy from ft Wayne.
Aw, hello, Nancy! Praise the Lord that you’re home! I’m sure it feels so good to back in your home, there’s no place like home 🥰 I’ll be praying for your recovery, I know that PT can be tough. I’m definitely thinking of you during this time, Nancy! Can’t wait to see you all dressed up for Easter! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
Such a pretty dress for both you and Addy! And as always, your hair is so pretty and long! Thanks for sharing your review on the Styla dress, it’s lovely but if it’s tricky, I don’t want it to be my first go at shirring. I was recovering this week from last week’s sewing frenzy. I worked on a very challenging sewing project and it just wiped me out! But I’m looking to participate in the Sewaprilblouse challenge, want to try my hand at bag making, and would love to get a matching dress done for me and my daughter. BUT I have family coming to visit and then a trip for the end of the month, so I will probably only get one thing done 😂
Tiffany, what a beautiful dress! I'd like one without the bottom tier, please. 😅 I haven't done elastic shirring before and think it's probably too much for me to get comfortable with. - Kelly
Hello, Kelly! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment! Yes, shirring is a little intimidating and I wouldn’t want to do it for every project but it’s such a beautiful look and I always feel quite accomplished when I get it done 🥰 Thanks so much for chatting with me, Kelly! Happy Sewing ❤️~Tiffany
You all look gorgeous in your Easter outfits. Beautiful. What a lovely little family! Looking at your sleeves, it seems to be from under the arm to a third of the way up the back that is pulling, making the sleeve ride up. I don't know what that means though. Maybe too tight a shirring on that part? Or too short of a sleeve under the arm? Or maybe you just need a tiny bit more fabric on the bodice back (bottom back) in the arm hole opening? I don't knos. I wouldn't have noticed it, had I not been looking though.
Hello, Linda! Thank you so much for watching and for such a kind comment, it means so much! Yes, I agree I need to do something a little different with the sleeves. They weren’t too tight to wear but I hate when they ride up like that. I’m going to try lengthening the sleeves first and see if that solves the issue. Thanks so much for chatting with me, Linda!
I learn to put clear elastic in the bodice, so the skirt doesn't pull the skirt down
Tiffany, what a beautiful dress! I'd like one without the bottom tier, please. 😅
