Oh my! The Waldorf Astoria! What a beautiful room. It does remind me of what I saw when your in London! Lisa, the tea. love the salmon sandwiches!!! The Bellini! The coconut cake and chocolate sandwiches. Bill, the curry sandwiches, the blueberry scones yes huge blueberries! Erin: the pear Bellini my favorite! you had the curry sandwich as well!! the blueberry scone with the clotted cream and jam looked wonderful. Leslie: Its so nice you çan visit your sister! Seems like the curry sandwich was the favorite! You had the blueberry scone with the clotted cream and jam. Boy all the sandwiches looked appetizing! I would also have egg salad and the curry egg salad, the ham salad, of course the salmon sandwich, the scone with lemon curd and clotted cream and jam. This was a wonderful hotel The Waldorf Astoria. The price was excellent $64 per person for a great afternoon tea experience!

Happy Mother's Day! I enjoy Tea as well. I've had Tea at Harrods, in British Columbia at the Fairmont Empress,, and several places on Oahu. All were good, but BC and Harrods were my favorites. Definitely points off for sugar in packets - lol.

Love that you reviewed afternoon tea in Las Vegas. I have always preferred afternoon tea over high tea because of the difference in foods. I don't want a full meal with my tea. I am surprised there is no dress code though. Although London Waldorf has casual dress code, no jeans specifically, everyone dresses quite nice. Also, thank you for noting that one would not feel uncomfortable having tea alone. In London I felt especially awkward having tea alone in a fine dining setting.

Looked like a wonderful spread! Do they serve enough so that everyone in the party has all the selections or do you have to skip some items? It looked like the waitress brought pairs of items on that tray which of course wouldn’t have been enough for 4 unless there was an another tray not in the shot.
