Hon. Kuria is lying. Motor Vehicle Tax is not based on use (literally speaking). It is a wealth tax - The government is basically saying, "I am taxing you because you own a car".
It is nausating to listen to Kuria. Is this the sort of brains we task to budget and plan for us? Regrettable 😧
The so called "positives" in this proposed bill are very much outweighed or matched exactly by definite negatives.
These things make a lot of sense to tugeges. They are punishing Uhuru
The impact of the reliefs and allowances is being outweighed by the new introductions. Example an employer has to shoulder 1.5% housing levy, 2.75% SHIF, Increased NSSF, considering the employer does a 5% pension contribution for the employee, that as an allowance has been outweighed. In essence the employee costs have gone up.
Good job
This MP is a clown 🤡... ECD teachers, nurses needs to be paid more they deserve not less than 80k per month... This MP needs to run a business 1K for a business a day is too little needs to be tax exempt.
KenHa need to invest in toll roads....the expressway is making billions
for the Chinese
The closing remarks by the MP lack are too insincere and overly simplistic.
So you pay to pollute
Yall here lying to us that this is better, give half a loaf and ask from us a full loaf you havent even given in the first place.
Ntv kindly before u bring a PERSON ti discuss financial issue do a research first is not this the same person who said bread is causing diabetes that why their wants to vat bread
My comment is late but its just so embarrassing to listen to that MP! is he really Kenyan? Is even aware about the demographic distribution in Kenya? I don't wish him well.
It pains to hear such a young Kenyan trying to cheat Kenyans about tax. Trying some text book theories on tax papers just because you have a podium to do so... just like CSs treasury. We are not happy.. the employer and employees will suffer. Then the collection is wasted on some luxuries by the elected and government appointees. 🙄
