I heard regularly emptying the steam boiler every 2 weeks or so helps to reduce risk of descaling since the water keeps being replaced with the new water. Any thoughts on this?

it is a good advise, but the better way to reduce the limeston is use water with the right quantity of mineral, then is bettere use the resin philter
