The good thing about NYC is that everything exists here. With restaurants you can blow your paycheck in a single meal that tastes like trash, or eat tons of delicious cheap food from almost every country around the world. You just have to find it. Groceries here are dirt cheap and high quality (just stay the hell out of whole foods). I shop at latin american and asian supermarkets and its cheaper and better quality than outside the city. We also have a lot of fruit and veg shops that cost nothing. HOUSING is the reason why NYC is so damn expensive. If you live in NYC without a lot of money, you CAN do it, but will be renting a place with roommates. If you make enough to buy a home outside the city, you can probably afford to rent a place of your own or buy a co-op. Space is the real cost of city life. Same as it would be in other big cities like Hong Kong or Tokyo.

Me while cooking: *sweats nervously over recipe in mortal fear of messing up even one measurement*
Jared while cooking: dips lid into random spice “that seems about right”
I end up cooking in a "cupboard nuggets" style a lot. Not as much as when I was in college, but unless my partner has a specific meal planned, it's a lot of me staring at the pantry looking for things to throw together.
This sounds, interesting. I'd definitely try it, but I'm not sure I'd like it.
Yeah, I don't know how well ramen noodles ands reeses puffs would nugget
Sounds like something for GMM, “Will it nugget?”.
@@lindawolffkashmir2768 Yah mean Good Mythical Morning? Funny thing is, I only know what that channel is, because it was right beside this comment for me. What a coincidence.
I actually got chills when you tasted the cupboard nugget with the citrus ketchup
Best recipe video I've seen because its completely new invention - both the ketchup and the nuggets!!!!
I have an inspiration to make roselle berries ketchup since I have some in my yard.
I can't believe how good those cupboard nuggerrts looked! I'd eat that whole plate.
For the first time, I actually think vegetarian nuggets look good. Top notch work mate! I’m thinking the sauce might be a sweet and sour type so I’d want to try it!
Id try making a cranberry sauce with all those citrus... 1 cup citrus juice, 1 cup white sugar, 1 typical bag cranberries - boil until done. Love to see that vs 1 cup orange juice in the same recipe.
Never had samo seed, but it sounds/looks very satisfying. You haven't sold me on ketchup yet, but you're making a good pitch for non-tomato based ones.
Love this channel! Great job Jared.
