The starter houses are nice. You mentioned the glass panes and yeah sand is everywhere. What I do is use fences the first day and then if I add on to the house I'll put in glass or if I get silk touch. The fences do the same thing and are easily moved if needed.
@@sashademchuk876 Yeah trapdoors work as well as long as you put them on the bottom of the opening. If they are on the top, baby zombies can jump through. Only real downside is the cost. it's 6 planks to get 2 trapdoors vs 4 planks and 2 sticks to get 3 fences. Not a big deal later on but can be something to consider early on.
these are all so cute! they're great starter houses, but they also look like they'd be a lot of fun as little camping outposts while exploring away from home! i definitely want to make something similar now.
The first house almost looks like a fancy tent. Very cool video! Meeds to be more content around getting people into building with simple designs, and you are helping fill that gap.
Loved the beautiful ambience throughout the video Marloe! You are such a wonderful RUclipsr who puts in the best effort and I hope your channel flourishes❤
The tiny house is pretty much useless since it's easy to gather a lot of materials to make a bigger house like the other that you made and the farm wouldn't work since there's no water. But, it does work well as a small post that you can use if you're away from your house and it looks cute as a decoration to make your base less empty. Overall, I absolutely love this. Now you making me want to open MC and build this
I do think torches look good with many builds (like they do with your stone house). It would be nice if they could give us a torch in a wall sconce to emphasize that look. Keep up the good work
Bro day 1 is 10 minutes , how you get polished andesite or glass, 😂 first 10 minutes is bed and food stay in the mountains or any hole , search for fuel to light furnace You guys play so much creative and lost reality of survival
@@ItsMarloe no you don't , you lying, in 10 minutes it's a bed If yo have sheep near and a hole in some cave , for polished andesite you even need iron bar to the stone cutter, shitty wood doors zombie will take it down in the first night, all of y'all RUclipsrs lie for view 😂 keep lying

Agreed. I generally prefer fence windows until much later in the game. Cheap and achievable from the start.
I prefer trapdoors over fences, but sometimes mix when making custom village)

I use all my day 1 houses until around day 100
Perhaps you could continue adding these one-off building videos to your building tips and ideas playlist?
The second one would look fabulous in a sandstone palette as well if you spawn in near a desert 😍

those starter houses look nice and cozy
Cozy ? Wooden doors the zombies take it down in 1 minute
@@999LipecraftJust place the door sideways so the Zombies think the closed door is actually open so they can't destroy it.

I would love to see the second house expanded, I really liked it's style!
The second one, reminds me almost of a small church or mission style building, i love it ❤ Great ideas!!

Love all of them
Awesome, can you make castle builds tutorials? Thanks a lot
I love the hobbit hole one... it might have something to do with being from middle earth 😄
You're so calm unlike lockdownlife :)
You also don't overedit, which is great :)
Wonder if Marloe also did a, tutorial on a Small Day 1 Farm, and a Small Day 1 Storage Room.
the best starter home is digging 3 blocks down and putting a block above your head. digging into mountains is a close second :-)
Nice Video!
Can you combine them and turn into maze or labyrinth?

I play survival plenty enough. Finding sand and andesite isn’t exactly impossible to do.
