Candle is the Jack Sparrow of the Fallout Universe. He even has a monkey, though it’s named Julia. Most excellent adventure.
Every time it swaps between the static object and modded companion versions of Julia it makes me laugh.
What I love about Candle is I can easily imagine coming across an insane raider having a full blown conversation with a Moon Monkey tucked beneath his arm. Makes me want a custom companion mod, where Candle carries Julia tucked into his waist-belt, kind of like Inigo and Mr Dragonfly in Skyrim. Probably unfeasible but I'd love to see Julia switch from inanimate object to sentient companion when you look away for too long, like how Deacon changes his clothes when you aren't looking.
Or imagine while you're sneaking, you overhear other raiders talking about him. Come to think of it, the guy with imaginary grenades and motorbike has never been identified, right? 😂

When I saw it u were at 130k subs. I was so surprised and proud of u. Now I’m here and I see ur at 548k subs. That’s amazing, I never wanted a small channel to succeed more in all the time I’ve watched RUclips. Here you are killing it. I’m so glad middle earth shadow of war brought ur vids into my life. I have tried playing Fallout VR myself. You absolutely HAVE to mod it heavily to make it a somewhat decent experience. And let me tell you, modding Fallout VR is the worst f*cking thing I have ever attempted. I spend entire days trying to make Fallout VR not shit, and I failed.

its actually easier now, you just need FRIK or Idle hands (I like FRIK but it requires a bit more configuration), Holster Mod (if you use FRIK) and vrperfkit. those 3 mods should make it more the skyrim lv of mods.
I made an entire auto-installing overhaul for this game… it took me years and over 2000 hours.
Pretty sure Crusty is using part of my modpack for this 🤔
Not really self plugging… but google fallout vr essentials or just google fallout vr mods. My modpack is one of the first results

I actually did try that. And I got it to run, but I still had a lot of issues. FRIK was super glitchy, a lot off muzzle flashes didn't line up with the barrels of the guns, I got stuck in power armor and all button inputs stopped working and so on.
But I'm pretty sure thats an me. I probably messed something up early on

FINALLY, I been trying to find this channel for months and I finally found the chaos that is Crusty, once again.
Candllllle.... Candllllle. If you wish to be free of your fears, and become the hero Julia wants, you must purge the shoplifters from the comics store, take the costume and stage prop gun from the top floor, then go to Goodneighbor and speak to the noseless man in The Memory Den. When he presents the offer to become the hero he believes you can be, accept, don the costume and accept the other personality trapped in the fedora.
With him on your side. You might do more than just survive. You'll thrive. You might even find someone to help you teach Julia, like a mother figure.
