Amazing! Superb performance and what a fantastic and extraordinary piece of music I have only come across now. I had never heard it aired on radio before until this early morning on BBC R3. What a find!

Ms Robles, both you and Nancy Allen are legends in your own time. I have been, and continue to be, awed and inspired by you both. Many blessings!

One of the nicest pieces and performances there is. A ten best candidate for sure. I first heard this in 1977 on a friends LP and didn't find the title until a few years ago but the melody was stuck in my mind. If you have not heard this on a quality hifi system with full range speakers you are truly missing something very special. Kick back in your easy chair with a glass of wine or a brew or even a joint and chill to this piece. A mental enema for sure!!

A fine work overshadowed by Rodrigo's guitar concertos.

It is at least the second best of all of his concertos. Artistically, it is a partner to the Aranjuez.

His Flute Concerto is insanely hard (I would say even harder than the Ibert Concerto) but it's beautiful and it was written for none other than Sir James Galway!
