- In this requested tutorial, I'll show you how to make the original Kato clasp. This is the one that you need an engineering degree to operate but if you understand how it performs and how to put it on and take it off, you're gonna love it! I love it but it's not obvious in terms of its operation. Sigh...Anyhoo, hope you enjoy it! I do love designing clasps, I really do.
Cheers, D

I just L❤ved it. Thank you Donna. I enjoy your tutorials and LEARN so much.
Hello from West Virginia. Thank you for showing us how to make your clasp. Love your work.
Me. You are speaking of me. I would struggle figuring this out on my own 😂😂😂😂😂. However, once again, the way you teach and break things down is awesome!!!!! 😊 love the way you explain the why not just the how
It took a lot of thinking and mistakes to figure it out! I do love it, though. It works well but it’s not intuitive, for most it’s a puzzle! Happy to do it for you. Give it a try! Cheers, D❤️
Great clasp design. A work of art itself.
So glad this was requested. I like this clasp and learned a lot. Thanks, Donna!
Brilliant design!
Thank you very much!😊❤️

Hello from cold Michigan.
Cold here, too, Frances! Stay warm!
Tank You for sharing ❤
You are so welcome! I like this clasp but it’s not as easy to engage…Happy New Year! D
Shoot it’s cold here also it’s from 80s last wk to high today is 50 it was 27 last night
Donna rather than drilling the holes for the cord, could I pierce the piece before curing? Is it preferable to drill the holes?
Hi Becky, you can but drilling after makes a cleaner hole❤️
That's really cool... Can someone tell me which video has the polka dot tutorial?
I think that was just color replacement. Check out the Basics Playlist. I think I put it in there!
I found it! Here’s the link to the technique. ruclips.net/video/RaJzj6O2jvM/видео.html
