Missed two steps!!!!!! The frame must be taken back down to allow the strips to bond fully without weight for one hour. Reapply frame/strips to wall strips after one hour. The screws/hanging attachments should be removed, leaving them on stops the frame being held fully flat to the wall which is a requirement with picture hanging strips. Maximum frame size for largest Command picture hanging product is 24" x 36" (60 x 90cm). Do not place lower sets of strips further than 2/3 down from the top of the frame as you will have difficult in removing the frame again as required step 5 of application instructions and step 1 of removal instructions, never apply strips to bottom corners. 3M official video: ruclips.net/video/8n2P6kuqqZ4/видео.html
Thank you for this, I recently remodeled my master bedroom by myself including new lifestyle flooring and wanted to hang some of my canvas prints without making any damage on my wall
As others have noted, this skips important steps. It's easy and simple if you don't do it correctly, most importantly taking the frame off for one hour. I suggest checking the instructions and viewing other youtubes.
Beautiful horse picture, excellent detail. She did not take it off, leave for 1 hour and reapply but even if that picture were to fall or slide, it is canvas not glass like my shadow box. My husband put the picture up for me but refused to take it off and let it bond without weight. I'm very nervous about this, and figure one day I will hear it crash and break 😞 I will make adjustments myself after my bad sprain is better, he's a meanie and tired right now
Please don't do what's shown in this video. Take the hardware off the back of the frame. Place the strips in the locations shown in the instructions. Press the picture on the wall but then take it off and press each strip, then wait an hour before hanging the picture again. Just follow the instructions and don't do what she did.
The demonstration and information in this video will set you up to fail! Firstly the frame back is not flat! All back of frame clips, rings etc must be removed to ensure the frame can be held flat to the wall. Secondly, the lower strips should be placed no further than 2/3 down from the top (NEVER in the bottom corners) so that the frame CAN BE REMOVED WITHOUT DAMAGING YOUR WALLS by peeling the frame from the bottom upwards towards the ceiling to disconnect the strips. FAILURE TO REMOVE THE FRAME AS REQUIRED at step 5 of pack instructions means the STRIPS DID NOT GET AN HOUR WITHOUT WEIGHT TO BOND FULLY before reapplying the frame to the strips on the wall. Applied properly these strips are fantastic and will last indefinitely.
@@violetblye3006 I was able to reuse any picture hanging strip (interlocking Velcro-like) that was not removed from the surface it was adhered to. Peeling the adhesive off of a surface damages the strip such that it cannot be safely reapplied. So for example, if you changed your mind and wanted to move a picture to a different wall, you can pull the picture off the wall leaving strips on both the picture and the wall. You cannot peel the strips off the wall and reapply them to another wall. You will need new strips for the new wall. However, because you don’t need to remove the strips from the back of the picture, you can leave those there and reuse them. They will compatible with the new strips for the wall. Each time you move the picture, you will need to consume half the number of strips necessary for the first installation. So you would do it like this. Pull the picture off the wall. Remove the strips from the wall. Throw the wall strips in the trash. Snap new strips onto the strips that are still on the picture. Peel the adhesive seals off the new strips. Apply the picture to the wall. Hope that helps.
OMG! The command part is what you should stick in the back of your art and the wall part is what you should stick to the wall. You can see those before peeling it. You did it the opposite way 😂
This is exactly how I hang my canvas pictures and nothing has fallen. I followed the manufacturers directions exactly. The only thing she did not do was to tell people about cleaning the wall surface first and to take the picture off after positioning it on the wall for an hour to let it set. You guys are acting like she did it totally wrong.
You can’t just bang on it. You have to press on each strip and hold for 30 seconds. And then you need to remove the wall art and let the command strips cure/bond for an hour. It’s sad that anyone can make a video and get a bunch of views even when they’re giving bad advice.
Confusing, we need to see exactly how the frame stays on the strips and importantly we weren’t shown how to remove the picture frame off the wall without damage, ridiculous choosing such a large frame for newbies, we need close ups of the strips and frame, it’s not necessary to see so much of a room.
Wonderful invention! Easy to do and pictures hung firmly and safely on the wall. No need for any tools.
I loved how you showed how easy the process was thank you
Thank you, I will try this and reading the directions carefully to and use a level.

Thank you for this video...I move this weekend to an apartment and don't want to leave any holes....

love the photo of the horse! where did you get the frame from? let me know
what a sexier idea !!!
Maybe I did this incorrectly but when I removed them it tore my paint and drywall off. So sad as I was selling and had to repair 3 rooms.
Should i remove the hardware to hang from the top of my art. So its more flat on wall?
What is your opinion on Command canvas hangers?

Are the strips reusable after you've finished with them? If not, what is the best way to dispose of them?

Arabian Horse Wall Art
So it doesn’t matter which backing we remove?
Do they wear out. Then art may fall?
How long would these last in a bathroom with humidity from a shower?
They sell command strips for humid areas.

I feel bad for anyone that followed your "advice". Maybe next time you might follow the manufactures instructions...
yeah, DEFINITELY not the recommended installation process.

I try to do and both side of the strips came off, I don’t know what I did wrong.
unfortunately , after a while they fell off the wall
That shit is gonna fall lol
this is so complicated!!!

Pointless better to watch commands pen video
They suck. They’re very expensive.
