How the fuck do you get in Club Aqua? Let me know the next time you go to Aqua or Haunted House, alright? I actually wanna go to Haunted House MORE than I want to Club Aqua?
Can confirm, north is much better! We did the north side for a few days last year, visited Loro Parque (best zoo in the world in 2022 I'll have you know, definitely some Kong monkeys there), stargazing up at Mt Teide, and some nice hikes! We stayed at Puerto de last Cruz, about an hours bus from the south airport.
I spent my whole january in Puerto de la Cruz up north. I was there last year simply for a week of vacation. This time i went to try "workation" for the first time and absolutely loved it. Quite calm and quiet and most of the people don't speak English, some of them not even the slightest 😅 I fired up duolingo there to understand a few basic stuff
I worked in Las Americas in 1999. I saw several stabbings, 1 murder and was mugged once. I was only there for 4 months. Needless to say I'm reluctant to go back... Brilliant summary, I love it when YT chucks random stuff in my feed - consider me Subscibed!
In fairness Spar is all over Actual Spain (and Actual Most of Europe). The real shock is when you run into a Woolworths in Germany (they sell booze up where the pick and mix should be) or a C&A in France, or a Boots in the Netherlands. Hearing disturbing rumours that there are also now Aldis in the United States, implying that it might be possible to buy a vegetable which has not been wrapped in cling film and blasted with fifty sieverts of gamma rays so that it keeps for two months.
I always go to the more local restaurants, like El Puente in Adeje, actual locals working there with barely any english spoken, we rent our vacation rental from locals as well who have had the places since 1997. Dont spend money on a hotel
I am overcome with joy, of course, but also a shameful amount of envy for the kind of light-hearted, laid-back, Monopoly-headed sort of travelling mood you guys seem to be in.
Loved it, except for the donuts with fruit part. What the heck is that? You either have donuts or you have fruit - those two worlds should never, ever collide.
I’ve since found out the North of the island is meant to be alright but not as warm. Can anyone confirm this?
Yes it's cooler (above Santa Cruz). The north is way higher than sea level and feels a bit more like UK

Petition for JJ to get a travel show on Amazon
always love the JJ travel show
❤
Weird because I actually wanted to go to Haunted House more than I wanted to go to Aqua.
Greatest overview of southern Tenerife I've ever seen!
We stayed in the north of the island. Tiny wee village. No one spoke English. We ate seafood and watched waves. It was awesome
That sounds magic 😂
Which town?

I had a great time watching this JJ, best vlog yet, keep em coming!
I am disappointed you abandoned the mission to find the creature
I was born and raised in New Zealand, but my parents are English and would holiday here often. This video has cleared so much up for me...
Love this! More please!

Costa Coffee in Japan was a proper whiplash
Sounds to me like our Woolworths sold pic-n-mix where the booze should have been.
I found a Woolworths in Mexico City too
tesco in poland and czechia too

Thanks for the lovely time. I'm looking forward to the next lovely time. But also if it's not lovely, that's ok.
Did JJ ever find out the animal or was that King bar calling for him?
Modern day Posh and Becks
Spanish Shoes II has made my day tbh

JJ, if we were to crowdfund a holiday for you how much control over the activities you undertook would you be willing to give us?
I don’t wanna go to boobies 😂😂😂
Pretty sure that’s the noise that the anti-murder rocktopus makes…
this is the good stuff

May I present to you: donuts with jam inside 🤯
This video got me pregnant
Think it's a cockatoo mate
Do you belive in tenerife after love?
Worst travel vid I've ever seen - 10/10 would watch again.
Note to self: absolutely never go to Tenerife
