On SS2 there was a fatal accident with a car that crashed into a spectator zone.
One woman died and three other people were injured.
Our thoughts go out to the family, friends, driver, codriver and everyone else who was involved with this accident.

I was there jesterday and i have seen the accident from a distance of circa 80 meters. It is nice to see something like this in the modern motorsport! My deepest condolences to everyone who was injured in the accident!

It's a rally, so there are like 3 cars running before the "real" race cars and one after. Basically the ones running at the top of the group are going around for safety reasons, like checking road is ok, people safe etc the guys on that car have the power to stop the ss, and the last one is sweeping the track. So if you are a spectator, you know that between those cars is going to be the main event. But too many times they overdo, like the lambo guy.

That is the purpose of the pre runner, also called the 0 car.
When that comes over the stage the public know that the stage is going to start.
Thats the meaning of the car, the older porsche and the Fabory EVO are the X1 and X2 cars, and start in front of the 0 car.
The have guests as co drivers and don't go on full stage speed.
He shouldn't be there for racing or enjoy himself, he is there for safety reasons, so what he did is quite pityful. Too many times those drivers are just ex race drivers or drivers with friends powerful enought to grant them a seat.. at least this happen in my country, but seems common nowadays

The driver and owner of the Lambo is also the main SPONSOR of the Short Rally Championship, he bought the Lambo for promoting the championship and having a eyecatcher on the front row.

It was the first or 2nd rally with this BMW, it's brand newly build.

Obviously the most expensive car is the ford focus wrc... without a question (400 000 to 500 000)
accidents happen but, its known that watching rallies live as a spectator is a dangerous thing. we all heard about the group B accidents
I've seen that Lambo in several of your videos, always fucking up lol.
The Lambo isn't competing like Skoogplay125 mentioned. He opens the track and should check the safety of the special stages.
Most expensive car ... I don't think so. I think that honor goes to Van Loon with his Ford Focus WRC.

There was a big crash in the end of stage 2 wich unfortunatly took the live of a spectator, so the rally was cancelled after that

Err Thats a Lamborghini Gallardo, so unless they have been tinkering with it or its a Balboni (Witch I higly doubt) it is a 4-wheel drive.
It's only dangerous if you stand in the wrong places.

This Lambo doesn't have full power as a normal 1 would have.
In order to drive it in The Netherlands it has been downtuned and lost 1 gear

The lambo is less desirable than that older Porsche to me. And nothing screams "dumb" like trying to show off in a Lambo with lights and sirens on it as the pre runner

Yes. I am admitting I am jealous because I don't have a lambo and they do, but as you saw, money can't buy skill.
You should know that WRC cars are over 250 000 Dollars, so the lambo is cheap ! ^^
You guys don't know anything about rally, right? The Lambo was car 0, it's an official car that's not in the race so it may be any vehicle, a Lambo of a Hummer, it doesn't matter.
Still, a car 0 crash is always funny because it's an official car. It's like a referee injuring himself in a football game. ;-)
I am pretty sure its quiet hard to drift with a lambo ( you press the gas pedal 1 percent and you go 5000000 mph. ) lol jk but you know what I mean.
World rally cars are much faster around these tracks and more expensive than this lambo...
