Very good loading ramps Rusty. Mine are exactly the same with 1x4's attached to the outside of the 2x10's to avoid the possibility of rolling off the ramps.
Rusty. Going into the truck is not bad because you're moving forward but bring it out and walking backwards is more dangerous. I would try letting that front tire down as soon as possible and let it roll and not hold it off the ground and possibly push you back causing you to trip and fall. I don't want you hurt, I enjoy your videos and don't want you laid up in the hospital....
Good morning Rusty, loading the trike looks easy enough for now as you seem fit enough and not to strenuous on you, as long as you can go that way great.
@@JerryD770 I saw some good ones for $35 and knock offs for $18. Course you have to buy the wood too. So that's probably another $30. Amazon has them, Home Depot and Lowes too. There's not much to them. Just a area to screw it to the plank. Then where it sits on top of the tail gate is kind of angled. That area is thin so the tires have no resistance. So they can't fall off as easy, which will eventually happen with this method.
The end may be for an eight inch board but should still be able to go wider so an inch goes beyond each side. The diamond is starting to get that brilliant shine now Rusty.
Glue or nail some rails on each side of the boards to make tracks so the wheels can't fall off the sides. One fewer thing to worry about. We are inventing a primitive railroad here!
you're passing along some good info. on these e-trikes; going to have to swing by some day and say "HI" because I live in the area, but have yet to meet you. Take care and hang in there
Great idea to use that rug to hold the boards! I'm going to copycat that. One suggestion is that it should be much easier on you and the trike if you can grab it by the front wheel, rather than that basket handle.
Might consider adding two cross pieces from below that will prevent the ramp boards from straying. Can use temporary fastening system to assemble/disassemble. This will add stability and increase safety.
Nice job , also if you like to keep the front wheel straight sometimes when your pushing it you can get a short bungee cord and put it through the front wheel and around the frame.
That was my problem exactly. I was trying to lift my trike in. I put the front wheel in first and that was fine until I tried to push in the back wheels and the front wheel turned at right angles and wouldnt budge. It would have been quite easy if if I could have locked the front wheel straight. I had to block the trike in with a wheel bin and go to the front of the car and pull the wheel and everything rolled in.
Very ingenious Rusty! Nice fix. So sorry to see three trolls gave you a thumbs down. We may share the same three trolls! Lol 😂 Keep the videos coming Sir. 👍🏼
Taking it out of the truck looks pretty dangerous. Walking backwards, one misstep and you'll have a 70lb trike on top of you. Let's try to think of a better solution. I'd be very upset if something was to happen to my favorite youtuber!!!
I admire you ingenuity but since you are lifting still, would not a third board allow for no lifting or just lifting the back and front sequentially with one hand while steadying yourself on the back of the truck be as easy and aprox the same taxing
That was my question too. That truck bed is about 6 feet long and the boards are 10 feet long. You don't want to leave the tailgate down or put the boards between the tailgate and camper top door. Maybe inside the Casita during the transport only.
TRIKEMAN polishes the stone while explaining Archimedes use of levers and levitation! Electromagnetic TRIKE effortlessly floats into Truck bed ! Is their nothing TRIKEMAN can’t do ?
Howdy Rusty. That look great. Like Jim Borer mentioned add boards on the edge of your ramp board to guide the tires. The wife and I moved a big couch from one room thru the house out the front door to the curb for the garbage man in the morning. My back is feeling it. Don’t know if I will be able to move tomorrow.
Taz Mod OMG . . . I can’t imagine how that poor lady feels. Too bad you don’t have any helpful neighbors or burly buddies to assist with the heavy lifting. 🤷♂️ 🌻
Gary Vonglis : Actually my wife came out ok. It was me that had the back issues after moving the couch. I used a heating pad at night. My back was a lot better. I am glad we took the couch out that evening because the garbage guys were there to get it first thing in the early morning.
i love the laughter!! Go Rusty!!
Necessity is the mother of all inventions and you did it perfectly and inexpensively. I knew you would. Love it.
Nice Job there, Ramp Man. Those folding handle bars on that Bolton are great.

Leave it to a country cowboy! Way to go Trikeman!👍🤠
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾🤗🎉✨🥳 Great job my brother great job well done 👍🏾
Trikeman has again solved the problem the "Easy Peasy" way. Of course he needed Rusty 78609's expert help. Kudos to you!
You sounded great and what an invention be proud!!!
Hooray! I know Trikeman is proud of you. I get a kick out of your laugh.
Excellent! Nice Work Rusty!
Necessity is the mother of invention. Good going ....
Simple solutions are often the best solutions.
Good job Rusty!
Coming from Lowes, they are pretty streight👍
Good morning Rusty, loading the trike looks easy enough for now as you seem fit enough and not to strenuous on you, as long as you can go that way great.
Wee Haw! We are on the way to an active life! Great job, Rusty!
There are "ramp end kits" made from extruded aluminum. They attach to the wood at the end that sits on the tailgate. But they fit on 2x8 boards.
I bet they are expensive though bout what 150$?

I see that not only are you all knowing and a professor of broomology, you are also an engineer. Go get em Rusty, glad it worked out for you so well.
found some for $15

a viewer left a link to some...thanks
Fantastic Rusty‼️👍👍👍👍👍👍
That worked quite nicely Rusty!
easy

Good job Rusty!!
Getting it on top the Prius will be the trick!
Randy King He sold the Prius years ago, I don’t think it’ll be a problem.
Trikeman could do it!
It was a wonderful day in Texas! God Bless Texas! Giddy Up!
Where there is a will...there's a lawyer. Good thinking. Gray matter working.
Trikeman strikes again next thing we see will be a comic book about Trikeman an his adventures.
Good job Rusty👍👍
You can buy a folding ramp that will use the front tire so you don’t have to hold it up
Any brand names please?

Rusty glad youre keeping the Bolton. Just makes sense because of its portability. Its a really great trike! Have fun😄🍺
actually, I getting another white Liberty Etrike from electrictrikes.com

Entertaining!🤔🤔😁😁😁

Wish I saw this before literally busting my azz trying to ride my mooncool up a motorcycle ramp into the truck bed
Hi...you're all ready now man!!! Blessings 🙋♀️
Good job!

thanks David...what trolls???
A thumbs down “dislike”
Good job, what Trick is this, 'A Bolton"? Good job 👌
cool video talk rusty lol
We can hear ya!!! Good job!! But will the boards fit in your truck to go with ya?
yep
i'm cheap too. and just for a bike the ramp shouldn't cost that much, but they do. Now i have to make one for under 20. but anyway thanks
The handlebars are very nice. I have to loosen a bolt to lower the handlebars.
really easy...
I LOVE YOU!!
It would be easier to summon trikeman to lift it in with two fingers and be done.😉
true...but I hate to bother him...
When are you going to do a review of the Liberty trike?
next week...again...thanks
Get this from amazon max haul kit 80439 $15.99 I use to get my snow blower in my ram truck
I'll check...thanks
I ckd...they'll work...thanks

Trikeman Engineering.... Oh God!!! lol. w.w.

Where does the ramp go for unloading at your destination?
Back of the truck?
@@RippSnortin I was wondering if it disassembles.

Al. atv ramp. Much safer.
You might try removing the battery, they add a lot of weight. Good ing-ga-nearing old boy!
