Does anybody know if you can change the nib with another no. 6 nib of another brand? I mean, by screwing it out.

Nice video and thanks! How does it feel in comparison to an Oldwin?

I own this same pen in Bora Bora. It's pretty, but as other reviews point out the cap's threads are really rough. I added some silicone grease to all the threads. Would I buy another of these? No. Next to a Leonardo Furore, the quality is night and day, with the Leonardo winning and making the Tibaldi seem like a cheap pen in comparison. I also dislike the way the cap is so wide compared to the body. (Leonardo's caps for their similarly shaped Furore and Furore Grande pans fit much nicer and the Grande version tapers in at the bottom to meet the pen more.) Like you, I noticed the three trim rings are not flush with the cap. This is something you feel more than see, but running your finger over them it's clear the rings are a bit wider than the cap itself and are fitted off-center (run your finger down one side and they're smooth, do the other and they're not). If I recall Figboot's review also mentioned seeing some glue here and there in regard to the pieces of plastic in between the metal rings. My pen doesn't have that issue, but overall it's just a very simple pen with rough threads that I fear won't hold up over time with use, and a resin that is in no way as nice as similar resins from Leonardo. I almost returned this pen and probably should have. I was also interested in the other colors until I saw the fit and finish and rough threads on this pen, so I expect this will be my last Tibaldi. I also realize they were doing a reissue of the earlier Bononia design, but feel they should have taken the opportunity to curve the cap ends in to meet the body better. It just looks crude, and the threads are rough and jerky and even more crude. Silicone grease REALLY helped this issue and should be considered essential on ALL the threads on this pen to help it hold up over time.

Excellent presentation. So, would I get such a pen? At my age, 63, hoping for 103 or more still writing, but, with genes that suggest that already I'm on borrowed time, hmmm. If I'm going to fork over big money (i.e., more than I would pay for a Chinese clone that writes perfectly well), I want a gold nib and interesting fill system to leave to the son who likes fountain pens. Just saying.

Lovely review Stephen. Funny though how the M nib looks more like an F nib on that pen. Maybe some day, not holding my breath, everyone will agree on standard sizes.🤣🤣🤣🤣🎉🎉🎉🎉

Nice pen. You published a review of a Tibaldi No 60 a couple of weeks ago. Memory plays games on us all. This in no way detracts from this reveiew, they are both great pens.

I bought this pen out of an impulse. Easily the worst writing pen I've ever had. Constantly hard starts, extreme baby's bottom and nib size was really off. It's such a shame because this pen is beautiful.

A very classic shape... little bit pricey though... acrylics are not that expensive... but I guess Italian. 😄
