What I especially love about this game is how the personalities between Miguel and Peter clash against each other. Miguels no-nonsense approach which is (solely) focused on the task at hand trying to prevent the big disaster and Peters incorruptible morals against everything threatening which makes him headstrong and foolhardy in situations. Even when they finally agree on something both Spider-Men still manage to annoy each other, Miguel with scientific facts and Parker with his lighthearted joking.
The last moment Peter has before Miguel saves him is so impactful. Even at his lowest, with no powers or jokes left, he sees Anti-Venom all ready to tear him apart. All he does is clench his fist and keep fighting. Even with no power, he still has a great responsibility to make good on. He's Spider-Man and he'll never give up.
One of my favorite things about this game has to be the voice actors for both Spider-Men. Josh Keaton and Christopher Daniel Barnes are both amazing voice actors.

They sure nailed it by leaving the dialogue for Peter David to handle. He definitely made the two heroes so relatable, they're like two normal real-life guys, even college classmates.
Fun fact: in the first fight of this game if after peter gets up saying "my-my powers...you can't!" If you do nothing I mean not move your character at all Eddie will try to fight the mind control before he rushes at you

Something so nauseating about eating keylime pie, being dehydrated, sleep deprived, and rewatching some gameplay of a obscure video game I never played but enjoyed watching others play as a kid somewhere sitting against my wall in a room with my tablet I nolonger own. Really makes you feel like spiderman.

I’ll never understand the hate this game gets because the beautiful graphics in the cutscenes for miguel o’hara and anti-venom vs spiderman and miguel o’hara caring and interacting with peter parker are nothing short of movie quality and the wonderful voice actors and unique storyline for the 2 characters is nothing short off awesome now of course the combat was not the most unique and quite repetitive but the cutscenes and character interactions make up a big chunk of the fun in the game and it’s because of that, that i can say this is my favorite spiderman till the “edge” of time😌
One reason why I love this game is the fact anti venom was in it and I like how they added 2 made up villains in endgame which is atrocity and the ceo also who else was scared when the atrocity was chasing u when u were a kid
I remember getting this game first on the 3DS... the graphics looked nice despite the weaker hardware. And then, for the console versions they're mindblowing to this day.
@@BrinIoca the graphical power of the console hardware seemingly hasn't changed as much as most people tend to believe since then. The PS3 and 360 were already very powerful, and still are IMHO.

This is the only thing missing from Marvels Spider-Man games the boss fights don’t compare to this or the other games. Apart from that they excel in everything else.

Miguel O'hara is such a cool Spiderman, I wish I understood what I was witnessing better and not just taking it at the face value a kid would back then, I wish more games would be made diving into him whether its insomniac style or like this
I would die for an insomniac style remaster of this story. Getting to explore the two changing cities as they reform based on the different decisions made in the past. It would be awesome

Both this and Shattered Dimensions brought back veteran voice actors for the wall crawlers. One of their highlights.
