You're a very talented decorator! Personally, I would move the floor lamp by the television over by the sectional. It would replace the side table and lamp that looks squeezed between the sofa and piano. I think it would look less crowded, and give a little height, as well. Just a thought to try.
I love the whole shopping from your home idea! Just putting something we have always kept in a certain place, and moving it to another, makes such a difference , and it doesn't cost anything ! :)
Hi ! I would leave that wall by the mantle empty , it gives the eyes a rest and makes the mantel decor even more of a focal point !! Everything looks really nice ! Love your choices and style ! 😊

Everything looks beautiful, as usual Crystal.:) I think on the piano, I would drape the little beads across the top of the books, and possibly add some little glass jars with some greenery instead of the galvanized buckets. I feel like the overpower the area there.

I have been in a similar situation with your coffee table. But some of my stable pieces I dont want to paint. What I found to help with breaking up the wood tones is to layer a white table runner or I have even used a placemat. It brightens the space and I end up loving the extra layer

As for your tray..if and when you paint it I would just paint the inside base white and keep the wood edges..you get that ‘pop’ of white but Keep the natural look ! 🤗🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕

I love all your ideas. Although I'm not a fan of so much farmhouse, I do like areas or your home. I think you made a wise choice in not painting the piano. I saw another RUclipsr, who I really love and admire, paint a piano and it looked so tedious. I don't think there's a way to do it properly without disassembling the piano and I would never want to do that. I also love the way you consider your children when decorating. I raised two rambunctious boys and, although I never put things away from them, I was cautious not to tempt fate with special or irreplaceable things. Love your videos with and without music. I wanted to say, as well (I know I'm getting lengthy), I appreciate your natural look. You are beautiful without heavy makeup. I think most young moms would appreciate your lack of pretentiousness and your honesty about your lifestyle with young children. I'm a grandmother now and so wish I'd been less anxious when my babies were little. Keep up the good work.

I am putting my valentine's decor and bits of winter greenery away today and getting out the perspiring items. We too have lots of snow, but I am so ready for a change. I bought 4 of those heavy white birds from Hobby Lobby last week and plan to use them on my tablescape. I love what you decorated today!!!! I do like this type of "decorate with me" style. You tell us where it's from and why you put some items in certain places and I like that.
I always put the taller candle stick on the outside. Do you like curtains or valances? A nice striped or checked taupe color of valance would look pretty in the living room. Not on the tall half round windows but the ones below. Just an idea. Maybe don’t paint your tray all white maybe just add a bit more white wash to it. That would be nice. No music I love these kinds of videos.💖
Just an FYI.. there’s this weird noise in the background of your videos... sound a faint but now it’s all I can hear.. sounds like a static or almost like a Geiger counter noise... (if you know what that machine is)
Beautiful! Instead of painting the tray white perhaps you can add white as a liner somehow ... Think a piece of fabric or wrapping paper or even contact paper. Will give you the bright contrast but can change easily.
I have always put the candles with the tall one on the out just to kind of frame it but I don't think it matters. My husband made me a new mantle 7"2"long. He wanted a new tv over the mantle so we made a deal. We are now in our 70's and I love to watch you decorate and shop and he likes to watch tv. He always says what ever makes me happy. Next week the 28th we will be married 50 years.

I love what you have done,one of my favorites is the white cotton ball garland on your mantle box I like the way you have mixed the black and white with wood and greenery, that being said have you thought of putting any faux white flowers In the vase in the trunk with the greenery or maybe even wrapping another cotton ball garland around the top of the vase or even taking your white and wood beads from the piano scales and put them in the vase and let it hang out with the tassel on the end and maybe adding a white flowers to the metal bucks on the piano with the greenery and that can replace the white that was in the beads you had hanging on the scales (maybe magnolia’s or roses or whatever is your fave faux white flowers I know some of the new faux is very realistic)...not sure if that will work just thought maybe it would balance it out and brighten it up but you did amazing

I like the piano look! But the side table in between couch and piano is way too big. I personally don’t like furniture side to side. Get a small round table to put lamp on!

Oh, I’m hesitant to say anything because I can’t decorate to save my life.... I love the mantle and piano except for the beads on the scales....I think it’s because I do that with my necklaces when I’m lazy and so it makes me think “cluttered”.

Just an idea, a thin bench cushion for the piano bench would brighten that area. Even a nice throw folded on the bench, I love everything you do!
