@@ShockInazuma you're not able to see what some of the taunts look like from other people's perspective, it would be especially hard to understand taunt kills on your own with this. if this was a feature then it would be best if it was toggle-able and not on by default

Actively swims in gasoline, always around ashes and burned corpses, probably never takes that suit off to wash it (or themselves)

@@lightningstudios3630I mean, he kinda does take off the mask. If you look closely at one of those uniform closet thingys, you can see pyro's mask. Though it's probably not canon.

Another great video! Glad to see you back on track. This one came out great as well. Funny thing about the Balloonibouncer, I never noticed it had cartoony sound effects as Pyro bounces back and forth on it xD

Damn, that's beautiful, i wish Valve or some Mod creator could implement that in the game. If Valve would do it, I want it to be in settings and as a command.
Like so, if you're new player, you'll always will see only 3-rd person's perspective while taunting, but if you want, you could make 1-st person in Settings.
Just the feel, of how you can see things your character does, aside from shooting gun, is amazing in my opinion. And also, 3-rd pov is OP since you can just taunt High Five(if you have one) and look for enemies behind walls or tight corners, Demoknights does this shit a lot.
It’s not exactly the same but in the command console you can use these:
cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1
and
tf_taunt_first_person 1

It's the taunt problem. It's more lined up here from first person than it is in-game

There is no Pyroland textures for this map. It would have been too complicated to reskin whole map from scratch without any budget or art skills. However I was thinking about this.

Like imagine the stats be something like:
Slot: secondary
Level 10 fire ball
Now you can hold m1 to charge up a super fire ball. You can see the stage of the fire ball with how big it gets.
Small: 25 dmg medium: 40 dmg large: 60
I would imagine the charge up is like the cow mangler you become slower but charge up a powerful shot of fire with after burn and splash traveling slower then a rocket.
You can not rocket jump with the fire ball.
And it has 3 charge points. A big fire ball takes 3 points and a medium takes 2 ect. And takes 5 seconds to restore 1 point
Down sides:
50% self damage
55% less after burn
Is able too be reflected by other pyro’s
If a fully charged fire ball is held for too long it will explode in your face dealing 50 dmg. (You can hold the big fire ball for 5 seconds.
This is every tf2 item test or animation test, With a proper name and proper title.
see for peapole that say that he is a no-skill class look he can play the piano,play the guitar do tricks with fire do shapes with baloons he can even ice-skate so he has a lot of skills

Valve should genuinely consider this to be a toggle-able option for taunting. Doing things in first person will add so much more immersion. I personally would be more inclined to buy the emotes if they had an option to be in first person

say, how do you get these to work? like
usually having a camera where the classes' eyes are causes major clipping issues thanks to source camera clipping, how do you get them to actually render everything instead of cutting into the model at an arbitrary distance? (rocket launchers, inside of torsos, anything that moves near the camera in a taunt...)
(definitely not asking because i want to figure out how to turn off that clipping plane ingame so cl_first_person_uses_world_model and tf_taunt_first_person become perfect)

@@korjezilla yeah, i know, but since it's SOURCE filmmaker, i can only assume that it has the same clipping limitations and issues as regular source, especially after having tried it myself and confirming that
which begs the question, how do you turn that off, and, in turn, would the same command also function for regular tf2?
@@a_lexine this is an animation... it is fixed by manually coding the camera movement

because camera MOVEMENT changes would mean that the camera would NOT be from the eyes of the mercenaries, but rather further up in front in order to prevent clipping
which would then be inaccurate
how it IS fixed is going into the element viewer, on the camera itself, and turning its mindist lower so it doesn't clip, but there's the POTENTIAL that the creator used a different fix, a command-based one, which would potentially work ingame

Unfortunately, no. You can get similar results using "cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1" and "tf_taunt_first_person 1", but because body is attached to camera, it won't follow head. It means any acrobatics is weird, but it's better than nothing.
im using "cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1" and "tf_taunt_first_person 1" but its not the same result, How did you do that ??!!!
