It's No Mystery. Mama Joyce, like my Mom, raised Kandi to be Independent, Kandi was performing with Xscape while in school but she went back and walked to get her diploma. Mama Joyce show tough love but most importantly, she Support Kandi Aspiration so she is the reason Kandi is so grounded and hardworking

I can listen to Kandi talk about the history of this group all day! Kandi has stood her ground since the age of 14! Just ahead of her years & always worked for what she had and wanted. Even when things weren’t fair (always on the losing end) she still didn’t give in. And that is why she’s so successful. Tosha came back AFTER her solo career flopped and thought they’d just jump back in & Kandi reminded her, it’s too late!

I think the fact that he is into sports helped actually cuz it was genuinely a new story to this audience so she was def thorough wit the history and backstory of what happened. If u had never heard of her, xscape, or their story this would be great to watch.

I loved this interview and how Shannon made Kandi feel comfortable to speak freely! There was no awkwardness at all, very chill and laid back. It felt like a conversation instead of an interview. Sidenote: also love the reactions of men when they get all the "tea." 😂😂 the "she did what now!?" And "she put it out there like that!?" Had me cracking up!! And his facial expressions. 😂 I didn't really think about it before but men don't really keep up with all the celebrity gossip, and backstories, the juicy stuff! Kandi was blowing his mind with all the details she was giving him. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

She is the first female winner of The Masked Singer (she did a video about it), she's loyal, authentic, ambitious, resilient, down to earth, strong, tenacious, has a big heart, is the first female to grace Shannon's "man cave", and she has so many accomplishments under her belt. This was a superb interview. I respect how respectful Shannon Sharpe was to asking those tough questions (that we all wanted to know), which allowed Kandi to feel comfortable enough to answer them. To that note, I can definately see a movie or series about the group Xscape and hopefully it will be made soon. This interview was a good reference point for some details that need to be added in the show (including the two sisters coming to the meeting with their white wigs) lol. Again, kudos to Mr. "Shay Shay" and for selecting Kandi on being the 1st woman to grace your set. God bless!
