I was thinking the same thing. This is a true interview, Shannon asks a question and let's Harvey run with it as many different directions as he takes it and Shannon only squeezes in to affirm him he's listening and maybe asks a follow up question on something he wanted more on or that interested him. One of the more entertaining interviews I've seen to date.
The reasons why Shannons interviews always go so well, are because 1, He actually is INTERESTED in the people he's questioning, 2. He allows the guest to talk freely and be themselves while he maintains professionalism with personality. 3, He asks questions EVERYONE wants to know.
Katt's interview achieved 51 million views in 14 days compared to 10 million of Steve's interview in 8 months 😮 Many people probably came to this interview after seeing Katt's interview 😂

Shannon always have the best interviews.. when he asked if he understood what his mama was saying to him as a child.. 😪we never do until its too late.. my mama said u pray different when u have kids.. just had my 1st a month ago.. i never prayed so much in my life.. that dialog made tears form..
...but it's not too late. Time wasted? Yes, but you learned and you didn't apply it then bc you had to know the experience of how you "didn't when you could" and now you can tell your child FROM EXPERIENCE.
Steve Harvey is telling his life with his words. This he does with devastatingly clear memories, and soulfully clear relaying of stories. Steve is doing real talk, and I’m HERE. for. it. 🤪❤️Loved❤️ the way Steve addresses his haters. Shannon Sharpe asked excellent interview questions, and got DIRECT and cleverly funny answers. Didn’t come here because of K.Williams - came because of QUALITY.
That was one of the realest, most authentic interviews I have ever seen. The one and only Steve Harvey! Also, Uncle Shay has really put his foot into interviewing and is quickly becoming a pro. Love it!
Steve’s story about his teacher putting him down and his dad telling him ain’t nothing wrong with dreaming, that was touching man. You don’t know how much it means to have someone believe in you

This broke me @CLUB SHAY SHAY. I had no idea that Steve Harvey was also homeless in Pensacola. I was living in my car there until a car wreck and wound up living a year and a half homeless there before God lifted me up after I told Him I was listening, too. This felt like it spoke to me personally. I have never been a big fan of Steve Harvey (He's alright, but I'm more Katt Williams), but this really touched me to see. I really appreciate your skill as an interviewer and while watching the episode with Mo'Nique earlier, and how you always seem to bring out something you would not expect, and this one it just really felt real and personal. Thank you.
I’m so happy that everyone including myself is happy that Shannon took a step from the usual and created his own thing and everyone on here recognizes it and gives him his flowers 😊
God knows you just can't keep a good man down. Steve you are a prime example of this. Your honesty and humbleness is so refreshing and real. And your mom was a very wise woman and your dad was a real honorable man. The way you describe them reminds me of my own dearly missed parents. You will always be blessed and we never give up that's not an option for people like us.
This is ONE of the BEST Club Shay Shay episodes. I love Shannon’s genuine curiosity with his guests. He listens and allows the interview to flow. It just feels like a down home conversation….
I have met Steve twice, once at Kent State, on my senior year trip and during the Steve Harvey show at "All Jokes Aside" in Detroit when his twins were girls. I love seeing him and hearing him tell his story. Steve is a real dude. I am so happy for his success. Keep going, Steve.
Steve does not have to do Stand Up comedy. He is in a different and higher spectrum of the comedy genre. Matt W is different than Steve . Steve is more successful in this area.
It was so refreshing to hear two grown accomplished men talk about life, loss, and love. I’m subscribing and look forward to more engaging conversations. So many powerful take aways from Steve Harvey.
Yes agreed on the take aways, especially when he talked about the new generation of men today, looking at the women on what their bringing to the table. A lot of these men got it so twisted. He looked right at Shannon as he said it too. Thank you Steve.

There are many that dislike Steve because they say he is arrogant. Steve is just a man that started from the bottom now he's here. I hope to meet him someday. Him and Shannon Sharp. This has got to be one of the most uplifting, positive interview I have ever seen.
My brother passed away from AID’s several years ago. He was only 38 years ago. Then, I lost my other brother about 5 years ago from Colon Cancer. My Mother passed away 2 years ago. I miss them each and everyday.🙏
The fact that he continued to grind well into his late 30s and to finally be on TV at 38 most people would have been gave up. The dedication paid off and I have new found respect for Steve Harvey
I met this wonderful man in a rough part of town K-Mart... he was the most genuine, kind, and sincere human I've come across. Bought his book the same day and taught me a lot. Very smart, lovely man❤ so glad to have met him
I agree. When a nan finds peace at home there's nothing that woman can't have. Not talking about financial gain but love, passion, and leadership from that man.

I'm a Dallas, Texas native who listened to Steve Harvey morning show morning on my way to work. This was over 20 years ago, Steve spoke VERY of his then wife (Mary) often. He bragged on how good she was to him, how she stood by his side when he didn't have anything, how much he loved and adored her. There's so many bullet holes in his story. I don't understand why celebrities tell involuntary lies. They get upset when the public calls them out on it. His eye needs to tell his mouth the same Mike Tyson joke he told on Def Comedy Jam years ago.
Once I started listening to this episode, I couldn't change it. Didn't expect to like this interview so much, great conversation. Lot's of wisdom between these two.
These comedians just needs to find peace and make comedy funny again no matter what the circumstances is. I hope the best for katt, Steve and the rest of the comics there human beings like us. At the very least give his fans an in-depth documentary.
Even the part where he abandoned his two kids?
Shannon always have the best interviews.. when he asked if he understood what his mama was saying to him as a child.. 😪we never do until its too late.. my mama said u pray different when u have kids.. just had my 1st a month ago.. i never prayed so much in my life.. that dialog made tears form..
💎💎💎💎💎
Dam
...but it's not too late. Time wasted? Yes, but you learned and you didn't apply it then bc you had to know the experience of how you "didn't when you could" and now you can tell your child FROM EXPERIENCE.
That part got me too
Steve Harvey is telling his life with his words.
You don’t know how much it means to have someone believe in you
Yea. Also his dad supporting him
Your parents should always support whatever you want to do!especially If you have talent!my dad totally supported me when I said I wanted be a singer!❤my mom was jealous!but I had my dads total support!
@@kellyanndean9374 They should. But they unfortunately don’t always. I grew up with an abusive father that screwed me up so it’s great to see someone getting that love from there parent
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE SHANNON. This man is such a pure, genuine, respectable, and humble soul. He deserve everything he had and everything that is come to him in the future,
SECOND THIS
This broke me @CLUB SHAY SHAY. Thank you.
Steve: 10M in 8 months.🤭🤣
Katt: 30M in 4 days. 👑💪🏾
But he was in only at 8.9 million the day that Katt's interview dropped 😂
Currently sitting at 46mil. Katt is the chosen one!!!
Katt is responsible for at least 2 million of those views
Katt on its way to 50m.
Thts bc ppl like mess & negativity & it draws them. Sensibility doesn't. Steve seems more mature.
I’m so happy that everyone including myself is happy that Shannon took a step from the usual and created his own thing and everyone on here recognizes it and gives him his flowers 😊
I love Shannon Sparks he definitely created a great platform for himself 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️❤️❤️
everyone technically does include yourself. :D
Bro researching and asking the correct questions too
I've never heard of him till the Katt Williams interview but I do now.
@@ygmistique8155 lol me too
Steve's testimony about getting from Florida to New York for his performance at Showtime at the Apollo is truly amazing 🙏
That’s Some Serious Hustling!
and it was right when Steve was about to call his dad and give up on the entertainment industry. give god the glory! ❤️
I sat and watched this one with my husband. I became teary-eyed and my husband was attentive. Great life lessons given by Mr. Harvey!
Very good interview.

This is ONE of the BEST Club Shay Shay episodes. I love Shannon’s genuine curiosity with his guests. He listens and allows the interview to flow. It just feels like a down home conversation….
Agreed! Ranks up there with the Magic and TI interviews
Yesssssss!!!
Katt Williams & Chapelle real Kings of Comedy
No cap!! Absolutely KINGS

Yes! 💯 🔥
Steve does not have to do Stand Up comedy. He is in a different and higher spectrum of the comedy genre. Matt W is different than Steve . Steve is more successful in this area.
@@mandyb6414 Steve is also very good at stealing every joke created by Mr Hooper
@@avrillherbert2600 New generation of men responding to a new generation of women. Also, Steve Harvey isn't a god so that's one man's perspective and as such doesn't make it profound, truthful etc.
I will guarantee there will never be an interview better than this one! Steve Harvey gives the best interviews hands down!
Shannon said…. Hold me drink
Try Dc young flys one you would love his one too
I love Shannon intro... he always shows love.

I am from South America; my father is German. When I turned 40 & I was divorced, my mother (from watching Family Feud) gave me your books and it really helped! I feel like you are a father to me, I applaud you for your resonance! I applaud your ascension! I am on the same health path, and I just purchased your e'levate me.... thank you! you are my inspiration, cutting cultural & prejudicial mores. thank you, Steve Harvey, for preserving! I love Steve’s story. It’s so inspiring. (Romans 8:18-the pain you’ve been feeling, can’t compare to the joy that’s coming). His pain turned to joy in real life.🙌🏽❤️

I've never watched a whole interview about anyone. This popped up on my timeline and I thank God for bringing this to me. This was a true blessing and entertaining. Shannon is the G.O.A.T and Steve is as real as they come.
Same
And I can attest out of all of the interviews. This is the only one Steve went into depth about his life like this

This was a treat to watch. Thank you Shannon and Steve for making it happen. 🙏🏾❤️
There are many that dislike Steve because they say he is arrogant. Steve is just a man that started from the bottom now he's here. I hope to meet him someday. Him and Shannon Sharp. This has got to be one of the most uplifting, positive interview I have ever seen.
You right 👍
You are right.🤗
My brother passed away from AID’s several years ago.
Came after Katt Williams. I live in Morocco, and I never heard of this Shay Shay thanks to Katt im here
When Steve told the story about Denzel showing him the difference between a movie star and a TV star gave me chills.❤❤❤

I met this wonderful man in a rough part of town K-Mart... he was the most genuine, kind, and sincere human I've come across. Bought his book the same day and taught me a lot. Very smart, lovely man❤ so glad to have met him
I just love how Steve consistently honors his wife, Marjorie. Say what you want about Marjorie, but Steve finds peace in this woman.
I would respect it more if he honored his previous wife.
I agree. When a nan finds peace at home there's nothing that woman can't have. Not talking about financial gain but love, passion, and leadership from that man.

I have a lot more respect for Harvey after this. I truly do.
I love this episode and how transparent Steve is and how he took accountability and responsibility for his actions. I respect him for that.
This is one of the most realistic story I’ve ever heard about being an overcomer. I felt it in my bones. Great interview.
Am watching this in East Africa and it got me emotional 😢 . There is something about the gift of a man. I can connect with this story ♥️
I always love when Steve sit down and tell his story. Regardless how many times I heard it. I’m going always learn something. To make it better, with Shannon being the host. Str8 magic 🔥🔥🔥
Things change, feelings change, people change.
Shannons story on the bathroom situation should really wake people up and realize how blessed they are.
Once I started listening to this episode, I couldn't change it. Didn't expect to like this interview so much, great conversation. Lot's of wisdom between these two.
Once I started I got hooked instantly. Best ever interview ❤loved it.
The chemistry and genuine love was just flowing through the screen 🫶🏽👊🏽

I could’ve listened for another hour or two. Let’s make part 2 happen. Gold content.
You can tell Steve is a professional speaker, he took one question and had so much to speak on vs short answers

Hands down, this was the best interview. Steve took you through with open raw honesty with every question you asked. He let you know that with God, all things are possible. He was inspirational, funny, and smooth. Coming from where you came from in Glenville, you two could relate to how hard you had to work to reach a goal. Continued success to you both.
