Metallica did get back at them later on. If you watch Linkin Park's Live in Texas concert, in the middle of "From the Inside" Lars rushes the stage wearing green Hulk fists and a pink bunny mask, just running around and jumping like a mad man, it's pretty funny.

In the entertainment industry it’s easy for actors, singers, models, etc. to be compared to others or remind their fans of someone. No one can compare to Chester. He had his own singing style and you couldn’t mistaken him for anyone else.

I believe that prank happened at Summer Sanitarium 2003 in San Francisco. I definitely remember at least seeing Chester skateboarding on stage during Metallica’s set and the others guys were there on the side of the stage. I totally forgot about that. Lol

Because it’s not like There was a skilled drummer, videographer/DJ, bassest or guitarist in the band that they all enjoyed playing together with and made higher quality music and more money together.

I actually read about this but wasn't sure if it was true. Cool that Mike confirmed it. As a revenge, Lars Urlich invaded Linkin Park's set wearing bunny ears and Hulk gloves. You can see it on Live in Texas DVD. Or it might have been Linkin Park revenging for that, not sure about this.

I don't support the idea of them replacing Chester. I think it would be better if they perform without him.
Chester can't be replaced! They should End Linkin Park and form a new band a new name. If Mike's going to do a solo thing than the rest of the band should do something together or something but you can't replace Chester that's just not right and is no way you can perform those songs without Chester! He was those songs!

Don't get a new vocalist. LP can carry on with the remaining band members. If Mike isn't comfortable performing Chester's work they should just write new songs.
I would imagine if Mike Shinoda would turn off the lights inside the back stage after telling guitar techs to let him know to do a prank back on Metallica. My whole life is a lie when Lars came in at the middle of the song From the inside on Texas.

Stangle Linkin Park was already a thing for about 3 years before Chester joined the band (although under a different name). The remaining 5 members may continue on their own without looking for a replacement, at least for one more album.

Alexis Carvalho I’m not interested in a new frontman. The reason I liked Linkin Park was mostly because of his voice
*insert name here* yes and no. Most people don't know this but 90% of all songs were written by Mike and Brad. And Mike usually came up with most of the lyrics. Songs like In the End, Papercut, Pushing me Away, Breaking The Habit, Numb, Crawling... All mostly done by Mike. But indeed Chester was the face of the band and he's irreplaceable.
But I'm pretty sure they will eventually find a new frontman.
Alexis Carvalho They are great songwriters, but they are nothing without Chester. Chester was the voice for their songs, and it was very unique and special. I’d rather them just quit and work on other projects than try and replace him.

Mike produces all the albums, creates most of the beats, writes the songs and he's the one who leads the band when it comes to what genre should they do next.
Chester has said multiple times he considered Mike one of the best songwritters of this time and he said he was the one who was most passionate about music in the band.
Yes, Chester's vocals were something unique but saying the rest of the band is shit and they only accomplished what they did just because of Chester is the stupidest thing you could've ever say.
Neither do I like Metallica, I don't know why, and nobody cares but still, I like metal bands, Mastodon, Dissection, Converge, Megadeth, Iron Maiden et cetera but Metallica though, they're so unattractive to me personally.
