'Every' EV expected? This seems to be only the very high end cars. I'd expect a much wider range since I know that there are some sensible, economy, cars coming too.

Yup, not until. And that initial price has gotta come down, plus the recharge and filling station access issues needs much thought before there's any public leap onto the bandwagon, so still a lot of chicken and egg to battle out before this sorts out to any degree.

Electric cars need a battery to take these cars farther than 300 to 400 miles and the Chinese concepts cars are beautiful but they didn’t speak about the performance of their vehicles. But if they can build a charger into these cars to keep you from a charging station will be a great idea. I find none of the Chinese cars that can not out perform the Tesla from 0 -60.

Not every one cares or needs, a fast 0-60 time, that is not the Holy Grail of EVs.
All manufacturers are so fixated on SUVs and hatchbacks. We need to see more large estate/station-wagons such as fully electric Volvo V90/V70 equivalent.

We sure do. Where's the Polestar Precept? Did they show it? Volvo recently showed their Concept Recharge. While it's not as attractive as I was hoping it would be it did kind of look like a wagon.

Someone recently said he contacted Polestar and they said they don’t have any plans to put the precept into production but they well however make an SUV called the Polestar 3
@@omaralkayal7598 The Polestar 3 is going into production. According to Polestar's Head of Design, Maximillian Missoni in a post on his Instagram, they will make a Precept production vehicles. Of course it will be different than the concept version. I find that interesting because the Precept looks like a full-sized sedan.

All find and dandy, except: EV supercharging infrastructure is PRETTY PATHETIC in the USA. Even Tesla is struggling to provide adequate infrastructure. In just two years (we have a 2018 Tesla Model 3) we've seen how busy Superchargers are. Last year on a trip we found one place with 8 superchargers completely full but luckily within 20 minutes there was another one. As to non-Tesla, including ChargePoint and Electrify America, it is PRETTY POOR PATHETIC! :) I think I'll go to sleep now, wake up in 2024, buy a Cadillac Lyriq for $70,000, and live happily ever after! 🤣🤣🤣
UPDATE FEB 2022: The Biden administration has announced $5 BILLION towards EV supercharging on our highways. I have heard that they want to have a Supercharger ever 50 miles across all interstates. That would be grand. However, it is TIME that all Superchargers become interchangeable. After all, you never buy gasoline only sold for a particular car model! Maybe, just maybe, by the end of 2022, all superchargers will charge all EV models.

I live in Europe and I can say that USA is very late in Car arrivals!!! I already did a test drive on this Mazda in the beginner of 2021! And was in a huge promotion because was the test drive car!! 😂😂 now is just a “old car” that nobody talks about!! And in USA will arrive only in 2022 + hehehe and the Mercedes EQA normally is a dust car in the road 😂 from Duitsland

EV Charging Station’s going to be hard to Find, and backups are going to be long especially in Rule Area’s passing throughout, don’t trust Electric Car’s because of this Old outdated Infrastructure, just don’t see how they are going to have Charging Stations all around America in a Short time.

Lets see what happens when every car is an EV fighting for a charge point when they are all occupied.... lets see what happens when all the lithium and other rare minerals for use in the making of the batteries are all used up. Your batteries will not be getting any cheaper. You may be fortunate in having your private charge point but millions of others around the world live in tall blocks of apartments or rows of terraced houses where they cannot get their EV within 100 yards of their home.... They are the ones who will be crying "Help".... How far do you think an electric truck can travel on a full charge? Lord Bamford (JCB) has stated that they can only be used for 4 hours before being charged up for more than 12 hours... He is now manufacturing all his diggers and cranes etc to be powered by hydrogen engines.. I may be in the minority for the next ten years or so but EVs are not the future , Musk has fooled the world's politicians and car manufacturers.
