Piaggio Zip 70cc Malossi Top Speed Run! 60mph!?

Top speed run on my 70cc Zip easy build up nothing pressured.
My 2005 Piaggio Zip 70cc full performance setup which includes:
70cc Malossi Sport big bore kit
PM Tuning performance exhaust
17.5mm carburettor (84 main jet)
Malossi red sponge air filter
Malossi Delta clutch (white contra spring & white clutch springs)
Malossi Multivar variatior
Stage 6 belt
Nothing too extreme for a performance setup pretty basic mainly setup for wheelies. Does a top speed of around 50-55mph at max as seen in the video.

Hi, i have a beta ark with a malossi 50cc sport kit, VL12 membrane and 17,5mm dell orto with jet 80 and stock air filter box and stock exhaust. It does 61mph with a stock restricted air box. Your main jet seems large with size 84, if your spark plug has a dark colour try a smaller size main jet. With a performance exhaust you should be able to go faster with that set up. Piaggio often runs smaller jets using a stock Piaggio air box, you could improve there i think. Nice scoot and good luck!

i ve got mine with malossi sport 70 cc, yasuni r, 24 oko 110 main jet with no filter, malossi carbon reeds (included with the cylinder), multivar varietor with 5,5grams rollers, malossi fly clutch and bell white spring it goes about 100kph and very quick to reach 80kph.

Gone through 2 speedo drives in 2 weeks with mine its a new cable aswell, filled with more grease in the drive & the plastic worm gear still strips, mine does 55mph, how is yours still working lol, I bought a gps speedo now.

Try whit purpule nalossi spring and yelow cluch spring. 6.1g malossi rolls.❤

We own same bike...same setup only LeoVince touring exhaust and 82 MJ. It runs only around 30 mph. At WOT it only gains RPMs. No speed. Sounds like the bike will blow at any second =P

I have the same setup on my Vespa primavera 2stroke. Only difference is i have a stock look sito exhaust. Same top speed but a lot harder to wheelie bc of the full metal frame. It is definitely possible tho :)

Maybe the exhaust is holding back the performance as I was expecting it to be faster? I have a 70cc vespa, which has the same engine but much heavier bike. It accelerates faster and has a much higher top speed ruclips.net/video/AG_UWNxWjvQ/видео.html
