CHRIS FOR A LONG TIME SAID IT WAS HIS BROTHER WHO HAD A PROBLEM WITH TOURING WITH JIMMY, AND THAT HE DIDN'T, THAT HE THOUGHT JIMMY WAS BEING GRACIOUS BY TOURING WITH THEM.
I read Jimmy was fascinated with Aleister Crowley and Kenneth Anger although he had a falling out with Anger. I would say he was seriously into the occult which probably fueled his heroin addiction.
What are you trying to say (in a rather inefficient way, illustrated by the fact that even though I might have an idea what your getting at, I still have to ask, because your desire to be clever deluted any precision a less clever sentence would have inherently had), and who are you directing it to?
The thing about Page is that it’s misleading to just listen to a few solos and judge him on that basis. Jimmy Page is so multi-dimensional; albums, songs and concerts all display so many Page ideas woven into a big picture that it becomes cinematic. I don’t think any guitarist in history - including all of those who are more advanced players technically or cleaner - created as big a canvas as Jimmy Page. For that matter, had such command of drama and dynamics.
I like Jimmy Page in terms of recording Zeppelin (ie, I am a fan of Jimmy the player). I am not a fan of the stuff Jimmy Page did on the side (ie, not a fan of Jimmy as a person).

Great lesson - totally agree that Jimmy is unique and brilliant ✌🏻🎸 (not sure about spastic though 😂)
If the crowes were rude to Jimmy,1 they should've asked k-Richards he more their style.2 that's why we still here Jimmy and I can't remember the last time I heard a Black Crowes song!!!3 they played everything in open "G" Jimmy was a master of TUNINGS they wish they could write one song to compare to Jimmy...JAMES SCOTT NICHOLSON,ONTARIO,CANADA...
I WAS GOING TO GO SEE THEM IN PHOENIX FOR THAT CROWS TOUR , I SAW PAGE PLANT IN 98 AT THE END OF THE SUMMER, AND SAW CLAPTON AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER, CLAPTON IS AWESOME, AND I THOUGHT PAGE IS GOING TO HAVE TO REALLY BE GOOD TO TOP CLAPTON,... HE WALKED OUT PUT THE STRAP OVER HIS SHOULDER AND BROKE INTO HEARTBREAKER AND THEY DIDN'T STOP FOR CLOSE TO 3 HOURS, CALLED BARELY HEAR ROBERT OR THE REST OF THE BAND, ALL YOU HEARD WAS JIMMY, AND IT WAS AWESOME !!! NO ONE SAT DOWN, THOUGHT THE ROOF WAS GOING TO FLY OFF THE PLACE.. . SO WHEN HE WAS GOING TO COME BACK I WAS SO AMPED, HAD CENTER STAGE 5TH ROW SEATS. THEN THEY CANCELED, THE STORY WAS SOMEONE GOT SICK WITH FLU OR SOMETHING, .. HELD THOSE TICKETS FOR AWHILE HOPING THEY'D DO A RESCHEDULE BUT NEVER DID FINALLY TOOK THEM TO GET MY MONEY BACK.. WISH I'D KEPT THEM AS SOUVENIRS .... JIMMY IS THE MAN AND ALWAYS WILL BE .... CHRIS FOR A LONG TIME SAID IT WAS HIS BROTHER WHO HAD A PROBLEM WITH TOURING WITH JIMMY, AND THAT HE DIDN'T, THAT HE THOUGHT JIMMY WAS BEING GRACIOUS BY TOURING WITH THEM.
Hi David ,kool lesson as always, your Les Paul is it a standard? And did you upgrade the pick ups ? Cheers

Hybrid pentatonic? Slash in Paradise City.
Page was the most melodic to come out of England.
Dave...have you done Jimmy Page 1973? Lots of great licks on the Song Remains the Same........Hope all is well
Hey about some Peter Frampton, I'm sure you'd agree that Peter Frampton had a lot of influence on guitarists
I read Jimmy was fascinated with Aleister Crowley and Kenneth Anger although he had a falling out with Anger. I would say he was seriously into the occult which probably fueled his heroin addiction.
rcc Heroin fueled his addiction
How come your inlays on your Les paul look better then the new Les pauls?
Page didn't have great technique.
But he could improvise like noone...
And hes definitely one of the Godfathers of hard rock.
I named my cat Jimmy Page
smoke the hikies...r0ck 0n
Psssst, Hank Marvin once told me that you have to find your own style, sure, copy all you like, but he was right.
For that matter, had such command of drama and dynamics.
dont lie lol
I like Jimmy Page in terms of recording Zeppelin (ie, I am a fan of Jimmy the player). I am not a fan of the stuff Jimmy Page did on the side (ie, not a fan of Jimmy as a person).
Ok Brewster...assume the position and lift the back of ya shirt.
Interesting if inappropriate fantasy you have going on there.
@@aylbdrmadison1051 Your depth of perception must baffle your friends...Me , jumps off the cliff screaming WTF was that all about.
@@glenndavis479 I'm with Aylbdr on this... Unless you're talking TICKS?
@@voronOsphere Well considering my first post was in reference to Brewster assuring us he hasn't got a "certain tattoo" on his back I guess you both have the same ailment...whatever that is.
@@glenndavis479 Yes! I was totally barking up the wrong tree. Still not even sure about any tattoo...
I figured that since he's wearing a "Hike the Smokies" T-Shirt & you said something like: turn around, lift up your shirt, & assume the position, I figured it was: inspect yourself for ticks after hiking in the woods to avoid Lyme Disease, but I should have known that ticks & Lyme Disease are so 2017..... So, I guess were back to the Twisted Tattoo Inappropriate Fantasy Theory....
