Good reaction. One of the three songs in the trilogy of lights dedicated to Mikio. passed away in 2018 due to an accident during an astronomical observation. Rest in peace wonderful guitarist Mikio Fujioka.🎸
Great reaction. As you've been told Legend MM was a special occasion, the two concerts on 2nd and 3rd March celebrating the "new" third member Momometal's 21st birthday ... and Arkadia was the finale for the second night (Night of 21). Arkadia is the last song on the third album (Metal Galaxy) and completes the Trilogy of Lights, 3 songs describing the stages of mourning after the loss of somebody close. 'Starlight' is about the initial shock, grief and anger 'Shine' is coming to terms with and accepting the loss 'Arkadia' is about looking forward, not forgetting but moving on and looking toward the future and happier times, better things yet to come. They always try to have some sort of runway, moving stage or something in their Japanese arena shows so that they can get among or as near to as many of the fans as they can and they will make good use of those runways etc throughout the concert where they can make the choreo fit.
I canʼt believe they are close to be 20 years of BABYMETAL, it has been a mesmerizing journey. I hope they continue for many more years, just canʼt stop being surprised by these lovely people. All love to BABYMETAL 🦊🤘
I love everything about BABYMETAL and their performances, but what particularly stands out to me here is the pure happiness at the end. These smiles are so contagious.
Hopefully you start with : starlight, shine and then arkadia but no prob, this 3 song is part of the trilogy of light which was made to their guitarist who died in an accident..
It's unfortunate you got this suggestion without giving you the context and why you should experience this official trilogy of lights in order, not to mention there's a lot of more songs from first and 2nd album before you had to reach the final songs of this 3rd album. Anyway, you can resume your BM journey with another song from early era and come back later with this trilogy, it hits different when following at least a couple of chronological timeline. See you next time 🦊🤘
@@jakemuller8626 a chronological timeline sounds awesome, I’m just going through a lot of suggestions, and trying to get through some of their older catalog before their newer stuff! 🤘🤘
Loved this, agree with everythng you said, plus it must be hard for Su to sing songs in japanese then swap to english then back while still getting the emotion so right. Particularily loved the end from when they looked at each other and knew they'd smashed it and them being so happy esp. for Momo. Since Momo joined they've looked (from the vids) like they are whole again. Kitsune up!
Good reaction to the final song in the trilogy of lights. Believe me when I say that they have been comfortable in a large crowd for longer than just the past 10 years. BM was formed in 2010 under Sakura Gakuin. Su-metal and Moametal have been performing concerts professionally way before their first headlining BM concert. Su-metal has been performing in large crowds by the time she was 10 years old. She was in an anime jpop group before joining Sakura Gakuin and Babymetal. Momometal has been performing live concerts and a play since she joined Sakura Gakuin in 2015. And then as a Babymetal avenger in 2019. The girls are consummate professionals and they love what they do. Their biggest goal is to show the audience how much fun they are having and being with their fans. It's the only time they get to interact with them and they make the most of it. I tell you, if you're watching a performer and they show you that they are having the time of their lives, that energy transfers to you and it fills you with enough energy to take home with you. Their shows are awesome.
This year BABYMETAL turns 14 years old! Su (the lead singer), Moa, and Yui (who left in 2017/2018 due to health) were just 11-12 years old when BABYMETAL was formed which means that the girls have been performing their kawaii (cute) metal for more than HALF of their lives! This fact just blows my mind! 🤘🦊🤘
I love this band so much. First time seeing this performance for me, I was mirroring your smile the whole time. Every single performance I watch I end up just happy smiling and enjoying the heck out of it. Thanks for doing this one!
I've had the blu-rays for the Legend MM concerts at the Yokohama Arena for several months but have been waiting to watch them with my daughter. However, she's been too busy with work to come over and watch. I couldn't wait any longer and watched both of them over the weekend by myself. Arkadia was the 2nd encore and closing song of the second night, which was also Momoko's 21st birthday. This performance just blew me away. I had chills for the whole performance. I loved your reaction and analysis of the song. I have seen BM live once last year in Houston but can you imagine being in the crowd for one of these super-produced shows in Japan! It looks like the ultimate live concert experience.

The Legend MM setup wasn't as elaborate as PIA Arena, but I love how the front stage puts them right in the middle of the crowd. Arkadia is a blast of positivity, the final song of the Trilogy of Light and symbolizing moving forward from loss. Great reaction, looking forward to more!
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I was there at the venue and shouted "BABYMETAL" many times in the finale call and response with smile and tears of joy. It is said that this song is a kind of fight song to encourage Yui, a girl who used to be a member of BABYMETAL and had to quit (allegedly due to health problem) this band in 2018. "Be ambitious" phrase in Arkadia lyrics may sound a little bit awkward or clunky to native English-speaking people, but it has a profound meaning and amazing background to us😍.
Thanks! I actually don’t really have any slabs, what’s behind me is the classic collection from celebrations just in top loaders. I need to get them graded eventually, but I’ve thought about doing a video of some of my sealed collection! 🤘

Again great job and I'm going to watch this performance again right now cause this just got me so pumped.
This is the last song of the second night of Legend -MM I have the Blue ray and a good sound system. Throughout the 2 day concert the sound balance on the Su-metal's channel was a bit quiet on both days. There was also an issue with distortion on the sound system on the second day resulting in a lot of sibilance that increased over the last 4-5 songs; it was most noticeable on the lead vocal channel and most pronounced at the end of Meta-taro , the song just before Arkadi. If you listen to the recent upload on youtube of Legend-MM of Meta-Taro where Momo leads the singing, when Su comes in the vocals are rich and powerful, but as the song progresses the distortion becomes worse. They part fixed it for Arkadia. The Concert is amazing though, and Babymetal clearly had a lot of fun. What did you do on your 21st birthday - bet you didn't come down from the top of a massive stadia, twice, on a small platform lite up with pink lights.
Awesome reaction for an awesome song. Next suggestion lets chillin a little bit and check out a more groovy song from the same show BABYMETAL - Kagerou ruclips.net/video/no5-os-Npcw/видео.htmlsi=0p91W2prNGlZ-FJa
