Hi...I am a medical graduate..I have s7+ tablet..I need a alternative app for liquid text and margin note for my android tablet..suggest some apps so that I can use the pdf annotations features like liquid text and margin note
Hi ropsie...LiquidText can be the ONLY reason to buy iPad if they fix one big flaw: When the size of the project enlarges beyond certain limit, then the writing in the canvas is not smooth and the LiquidText app becomes unstable and shuts down repeatedly...If they FIX it then I will tell you to go for it without thinking...It’s the most innovative app but so simple to use it...it’s INCREDIBLE!!! LiquidText please fix the above problem and make us happy.Thankyou.
@@PaperlessX yep 👍🏻 I agree with you...I think their FOREMOST priority should be to fix the huge file size issue, making the application buggy, unstable and consequently making the digital inking in application slow to appear etc....On second priority they must add syncing capability, completely agree with you...But you will agree that the former is a deal breaker for many as for many the application will not be useful,productive...hopefully you understand my point. LiquidText developers are very slow in updating the app...They must have fixed it way before as I have written to them so many times but in vain...fingers 🤞...thanks...take care...
Sorry my dear, but just finished the video “5 things I hate about LT”.... So are we using LT, MarginNote or Notability? I don’t have a compelling reason (yet) to leave Notability b/ 1. I have tons of docs, PDF, notes, audio-what do I do with all this stuff, 2. I do NOT want to use TWO apps for the same purpose(s), 3. Are new features just that, features looking for a need? Thank you again. Love your channel. Dr. M
Still crashed on me frequently and writing looks really really bad .. I hope they fix their problems quickly .. cz their updates tend to take loooooooooooooooong time to be released
Hey...is there any means to have a backup of liquid text notes....like I wonder if somehow my ipad got damaged...is there anyway I can get my study material back?
I downloaded this app to compare with GoodNotes. I couldn’t figure out how to open a new document. So I messaged LiquidText who told me, direct quote: “Thanks for writing to us. Currently, you must import a document to create a new project, so you could create a blank PDF and import it for this purpose.” What? This is a totally weird implementation. How the hell do you start a project without simply beginning with blank sheet of paper? This is 101. No, I’m not using a second app to make a blank every time I want to begin making notes! Still using GoodNotes.
I think the most important reason why I use Liquidtext is the improved Appel pencil Latency, I can write on it like when I write on Paper. I could not notice any gab more between Pencil tip und the screen linke in Pdf expert or other apps. The developers really did a good job doing this.
You have a wonderful voice! You're very cool and funny and informative. I especially love 12.55, "you probably shouldn't do that!" Think you're going to be a big RUclips star when the world discovers you!! Thanks for great vids
Liquidtext always crashes and it takes forever to open a file. However, most of my files are big file like >1,000 page book. The main advantage of Liquidtext is taking notes and seamlessly putting your selected notes on the pdf and transferring it to your notes (which is on the side as you see in this video). The pdf/book is one side and your notes are on the right (if you're right handed). In Notability, you can only put notes on the pdf/book and not have a separate page on the side for your notes.
@@rochelledhnh5449 ya you can anonite padfs also... And so many things u can do... Once use for a month... And there is an FB group.. namely zooomnites unofficial... I stop using LiquidText a long time ago because I always felt it came short in many aspects. And all the changes that they made didn´t make me think differently
Hi Ropsie...Can LiquidText open Davidson principles and practice of medicine without crashing it? If yes, then I may purchase LiquidText...But surely I will wait first for sometimes if pdf pro expert 7 developers cancel the yearly subscription for one time purchase ...Actually I got interested in LiquidText when you praised its writing ✍️ performance and said that it might be better than notability...But this crashing of big pdf textbooks is actually a bummer so that’s why I need clarification on this.thank you...regards...
No... that textbook won’t crash the app it will just take too long to load. I believe that the crash was really just a bug. Not sure if they have fixed it yet... 🤔
@@PaperlessX I just tried Davidson textbook with LiquidText trial version and it only took 7 seconds to load it.That’s 😉 amazing! If pdf expert 7 developers did not change their yearly subscription then I might purchase LiquidText...best regards...
Hi, I really appreciate your video cuz i was SO confused about why my Liquid text shows the workspace below the PDF file, not on the side (lol) and i figured out through ur youtube :))))
My LiquidText doesn’t allow me to edit text anymore. The BOLD, underline, Italics and text size functions don’t show on my keyboard like they do on yours at minute 9:35. Do you know how I can fix this?
I’ll keep looking to see why you left NOTABILITY. I can’t imagine moving all your documents from Notability to Liquid Text!? I’m sure you can advise an easy way to port the content from NB to LT. Thanks for an awesome channel.
There is no easy way to moving apps, these apps are not working together yet.... Here’s the reason why I left Liquidtext: ruclips.net/video/hd6D0naM0aA/видео.html
Privet, Ropsi ☺️ Thanks for review video! Can you, please, make a comparison video with LiquidText vs MarginNote 3 vs Flexcil! All three of them! I’m still waiting it sooo much 😅 and I’d be extremely happy for such a video 😺 And by the way, do you know about any discounts on those apps? Maybe they are going to make some sale before September..?
Kkkkkk, you are putting a lot of pressure on me now. Kkkkk I’ll try to see how I can fit 3 apps on one screen. That’s been the biggest challenge so far. 🤔 working on it though.
College Math Professor here. Awesome video, Ropsie! I am now using LiquidText. I have loaded 2 textbooks in the same workspace, and am connecting similar topics, etc. All thanks to you! Keep up the terrific work. And thank you! 👍
As usual, informative, well-done, and enjoyable - not bc sarcasm (thank you!), but how you “feel”, like/dislike about using apps. And funny “Je suis impressed.” Happy you reviewed LiquidText. Was sitting almost dormant on iPad. Toyed around with it. Fun. But in the end, deleted it recently bc lack of non-paid features, and not really needed to boot. Don’t mind paying top dollar for apps we use daily (even every 3-5 years if necessary - see NS2, GN5), but hate subscriptions and basic add-ons. Speaking of NS, GN (and Notability), struggling here with their Search feature. Does it work with both handwriting and typing? Getting weird results here. Maybe a short comparison video (search feature only - becoming much more important as we accumulate notes) if of interest, obviously.
You make a solid point on the search function. Though I can only do for Notability. My NS and GN are empty. I doubt I will get the results we need. 🤔 I am glad you liked my video. And noticed my small French joke... kkkkkkk
Really helpful thank you
I am unable to get my Doc Pane and also not able to open 3 docs on the same workspace as you showed in your video?
That's most likely a bug
Can we take notes on liquid text ? Like a saperate folder
Technically it’s possible, but with a lot of challenges

Can I use Liquid text in surface pro 7 ?
They did release a windows version of the app a few months back
For students margin note, flexcil or liquid text?
Depends on your needs
Hi! Liquidtext just rehauled their workspace. Would love to hear your thoughts about it!
I know! I am so excited, hopefully will get around to reviewing it a week or so...

Yeah... disappointed with LiquidText 😔
How can we copy images from Google photos to add to our canvas?
Drag & Drop works

Not in the app. You can backup your whole iPad. That will backup the app too

Hey. I finally got it sorted. LiquidText was still incompatible with iPadOS 13. LiquidText released an update which sorted out my problem. Thanks!

How to use Lasso tool ?
It’s for selecting stuff and rearranging stuff around on your canvas
The app has a Great idea but also needs to improve stability
I’m looking for a pdf manager for journal articles, I found margin notes to be a tough interface. Maybe I’ll give it another go
Do you annotate the journal a lot? Do you need a separate canvas to take notes on?
I’m interested in a comparison! Please do one :)

iPad pro 2018 12.9 inch
