That is so mean and I don't understand how anyone could be entertained or enjoy watching this. As another cat owner, I would totally lose my mind if one of my cats disappeared like that. If my family ever did something like this to me, I would never speak to any of them ever again.
What if he actually was missing? They'd think they got pranked again or something. I know it's meant to be innocent but it sets the stage for future incidents

I'm a cat dad to two cats and I couldn't laugh at the prank because I know the feeling when you can't find your cat 😰 especially when they are indoor cats only

Yes exactly. I was crying watching this cause I know what it feels like to not be able to find your cat. That panic and worry. The searching and pacing. It’s not fun at all. I don’t know if I’d be too happy with my family for this joke, but I’d definitely be happy to see my baby.
Please never ever do it again… only people who love their pets know how hard to imagine when they disappear without a trace.. I can totally understand how poor Fifi and Kareem could have felt… I would have been ended up having a total nervous breakdown and even watching this I feel very stressful after all knowing this was a prank from the very beginning.. I have couple of cats go missing but never returned back when I was a child.. still I feel how hard and I remembered how much I cried… I cried and cried and cried until my eyes hurt and no more tears left.. felt so helpless when days passed with no trace of them…

That's a pet parent's worst fear. My family and I were crying, livid, and distraught thinking my cat had ran away. The little rascal had managed to get open the attic door and was hiding in a box up there. He really did scare us.😅😅🤣

I would be so bloody pissed if this happened to me. There would hands thrown and family/friends would be cut off if someone “pranked” me like this. I had my cats go missing or hide where I couldn’t find them for long time and the panic and fear isn’t something that’s funny or to laugh at. I’m seriously surprised Fifi and her husband didn’t get physical when they found out. Frankly I’m surprised mama went along with this.
This is exactly like me last night at almost 3am when our lovely cat climb out of window makes me shouting and crying like a momma looking for her baby 🤣 think goodness we're find him ASAP 🤣
