The host is rude and couldn't understand what Mr. Anuj was saying. If there was passion for Netaji inside the hearts of most of the Bengalis then there would have been a revolution. Saying I like Netaji and coming out in the streets for him or doing something significant is completely different. Mr. Anuj is more or less correct. Nice. I as an Indian I feel, we need men with character and grit, high time. People who are not ready to listen to others pov is a sign of weakness. And as a Bengali, I feel Subhash Bose is very close to my pride(almost synonymous) and his struggle and renunciation is what we must look forward to and grow.

@@nishantparulekar1049 Netaji was a socialist, not a communist or like the left liberals we see today, unlike Gandhi who preached disbanding the army, the trusteeship model (where wealthy people out of their "good heart" give money to help the poor! and wealth remains with the wealthy), Netaji was in favor of of having big industries (this is the most important point because apart from having big Industries even today govt follows many mass beneficial policies, in fact Netaji was strongly in favor of fast industrialization) , strong army, mass public welfare systems and services as well as the classic socialist policies of that time like land reforms, abolishing of caste divides, equality etc.
He also wasn't an atheist or someone against hinduism like today's leftists, he was deeply inspired by Swami Vivekanada, he had links with Ramakrishna Mission, kept gita and swamiji's book with him all the time, he had plans and vision for how to build back India after Independence, and not some idiotic nonsense like trusteeship model, LoL.
Also the then communist party was against Netaji and after WW2 used to call him Tojo'r kukur (Tojo's Dog) like Mr Dhar pointed out, there was a huge smear campaign done by them against Netaji, communist along with congress were among the parties who gave Netaji the cold shoulder before he left India in 1941.
Any WB university, any college.. Where research on netaji being done.. But we do research on ho chi minh,stalin,che guevara, Mao.. It took so many years for a man from Delhi to do the research works..Netaji wanted our blood of independence and we, bengalis, gave WB the red poison of communism after burying netaji and his philosophy..Its us bengalis, who wear the black mark on our forehead of taking out netaji from our history books and teaching the whole nation the falsehood of charkha & it's role in independence...communists historians(maximum bengalis) robed our future generations of the knowledge of our true liberator. It will tk at least 50 yrs to wash away this sin what we had done to him and our motherland.. Boria ji, tk time and introspect.. U contributed ur research for Tendulkar's book.. On 23 January people come to eat free tele baja in name of Netaji. They do not come pay respects. If they really did then they would have paid for it and asked for it to be donated towards Mission Netaji who are fighting the cause.
Having a Colony Club in Netaji's name and asking for a donation when somebody buys a land or makes a house is showing disrespect towards the great leaders name.
Opening a school in Netaji's name and teaching about gandhi is totally disrespectful.
Opening a college in Netaji's name and teaching about Karl Marx is even more disrespectful.

Mr Boria Majumdar, we may admire Netaji. But we never did support Netaji. Doing lip service is easy. Thats wat we have done for Netaji. And you do not dare to potray Netaji as a Bengali Hero. On 23rd January, the birthday of Subhas Chandra Bose is celebrated to mark it as a Annual ritual. Subhas Chandra Bose is limited to annual event on his birthday only. Oh yes we bengalis should fight for Subhash Chandra Bose, but presently we are not. The convener is pretty satisfied about the fact that he is from North Kolkata and he claims that "even a telebhaja shop remembers Netaji's contribution from morning till evening on 23rd January" this person really sounds strange why on earth should this person be remembered on a specific date from morning till evening. He again moves on to say that that he has witnessed (he himself hasn't been a part of it) marches being taken out on this specific date by every possible schools (corporation schools and Government aided schools) , slum dwellers there are celebrations that happen at Shyam Bazar Panch Mathar More but what this person doesn't say is that that most if these people when asked of Netaji simply say " Netajir Bharater shadhinatai anek obodan ache" (Netaji has a great contribution towards the India's independence) but the moment they are asked about his contribution they start faltering (not necesssarily that they can't answer. So Mr. Convener "Congrats!" you have really been successful in making Anuj Dhar feel miserable but you should have answered the question why don't bengalis turn up supporting the cause of declassification of files.Do these school children , your telebhaja shop and slum dwellers know about it? But, Mr. Dhar's claims have been absolutely true and he is unaware of this fact. The type of questions this person asks merely shows that he is more interested in the politics involved in the Netaji issue rather than the declassification of the files.
