  • I have stayed at a capsule hotel with a sauna.
I stayed in the luxurious "DX Capsule" which includes a down comforter and mini-fridge.
There are many relaxing spaces besides the capsule rooms.
It is also possible to use only the sauna.
This capsule hotel is available only for men.
Prices are at time of shooting.

Honestly, I'm taking notes about capsule hotels because I want to build small cozy resting spaces like this in my own home. One doesn't need a huge bedroom to sleep well, but a comfy bed, clean and fluffly sheets and pillow, good ventilation and enough storage space for clothes and bed coverings. The only spaces I want to be/feel "wide" in my home are places people will constantly be walking about while doing tasks or entertaining themselves/talking to each other, such as the kitchen and the garden. Even the living can be just a small very cozy corner annexed to the kitchen, since most people end up just sitting down. It doesn't need to be huge.

So true, imagine a place to stay in a large city with great amenities for only 900 to 1500 per month. I'm older now and have a home, but something like this would have been perfect when I lived in Chicago in my early 20s. Book it for 6 months straight if you like it, if not keep looking until you find the one that suits you. Something like this could solve housing affordability issue in the US provided people respected the property and each other

It feels like a weird mix of youth hostel, some sort of asylum ( especially with the wristbands and clothing), the stereotype of a lonely gas station at night but still cozy little caves for you to relax and some great amenities. There’s nothing even close to that here in Germany. That’s a more luxury one, but the last one I’ve seen was perfectly fitting my description. A little more run down with less glamour but still good to use. And they got alcohol after 5 PM, didn’t see that here. Looking forward to more amazing videos. 😊👍🏼

Still wouldn't be able to sleep soundly without a lock and door.
When a a japanese flips out and goes all stabby or they go gassy attacky they do so in spectacular fashion.
Sure odds are extremely remote but they are quite preverted over there. It wouldn't surprise to me wake up and find some man outside my cube going whacky whacky on his lo mein noodle.

Love this tour. So helpful for us to know how to navigate if we weren’t used to this type of accommodations. Does the privacy screen lock on the capsule? You had maybe left your backpack and laptop when you went out to eat, is it because you feel safe sleeping in a hotel that you cannot enter without the bracelet? Thanks 😊

You are basically staying in a hostel with fancy bunk beds sharing the space with strangers.

11:49 - A capsule hotel with Dr. Pepper? Didn't expect to see that. Good to know for when I visit Osaka, though.
