Well about engineering, google ''Wuppertal Schwebebahn''. It is the exact same thing presented here in the video, and it exists already since 1901 in the german city called Wuppertal.

@@basiics it’s an old old technology. Monorails in Japan don’t use any humans like this. I suggest you travel to Japan before you talk about Germany. This is an extremely remote island called Enoshima and we still have this monorail for enjoying retro good old Japan.
But Japan is much more advanced than all of Europe combined and not just Germany in terms of public transportations. I mean have you even traveled by rails in Europe? Always late and always dirty, it looks like 70s Japan.

I rode the Wuppertal line about 15 years ago and was surprised how normal it felt. I mean, everyone local was completely used to it and I had seen quite some pictures of it before. Ride was completely smooth and quick, too. Nice to see you're excited about the Japanese "sibling"!
Until a few years ago, Japan had a monorail system in Ueno that was a direct son of the Wuppertal Monorail.
The Shonan Monorail in this video is a child of the Ueno Monorail, so it is roughly the grandson of the Wuppertal Monorail.

It's not scary at all! Stable structure, it's absolutely no different to a normal monorail or a cable car.

I lived near here for 3 years and never rode the monorail to Enoshima. One of my biggest regrets. Definitely on my list of things to do when I visit next year!
Visited Japan two weeks ago and I did the same route (Ofuna to Enoshima, Enoshima to Kamakurakokomae) for the Slam Dunk view 😄. Then I proceeded to the end of Enoden line which is Kamakura and took another train to Yokohama. Next time I visit I will definitely drop by Enoshima Island...preferrably during the summer! That Mt. Fuji and sunset combo is beyond amazing!

It is best to avoid summer,
It is best to visit in mid-winter because it is very crowded in summer. This Shonan area has mild winters and cool summers compared to Tokyo, so it is relatively comfortable even in winter.
The air is clearer in winter, so the sunsets are more beautiful.
If you visit Enoshima, be sure to enjoy not only the sunset but also the caves (be careful not to go before sunset or they will be closed).
If you have time, you should take the Shinkansen to Nozawa Onsen ski resort, It has the best snow quality next to Niseko and is more accessible.

I rode this last month (April 2023). Google maps directed me towards it when I needed to leave Enoshima for Yokohama. Had no idea it was a hanging monorail, but was very happy to discover it was. A bumpy ride, but lots more fun and scenic than a rail or bus ride.
Naquele tempo haverá cinco cidades na terra do Egito que falarão a língua de Canaã e farão juramento ao Senhor dos Exércitos; e uma se chamará: Cidade de destruição.
Naquele tempo o Senhor terá um altar no meio da terra do Egito, e uma coluna se erigirá ao Senhor, junto da sua fronteira.
E servirá de sinal e de testemunho ao Senhor dos Exércitos na terra do Egito, porque ao Senhor clamarão por causa dos opressores, e ele lhes enviará um salvador e um protetor, que os livrará.
E o Senhor se dará a conhecer ao Egito, e os egípcios conhecerão ao Senhor naquele dia, e o adorarão com sacrifícios e ofertas, e farão votos ao Senhor, e os cumprirão.
E ferirá o Senhor ao Egito, ferirá e o curará; e converter-se-ão ao Senhor, e mover-se-á às suas orações, e os curará;
Naquele dia haverá estrada do Egito até à Assíria, e os assírios virão ao Egito, e os egípcios irão à Assíria; e os egípcios servirão com os assírios.
Naquele dia Israel será o terceiro com os egípcios e os assírios, uma bênção no meio da terra.
Porque o Senhor dos Exércitos os abençoará, dizendo: Bendito seja o Egito, meu povo, e a Assíria, obra de minhas mãos, e Israel, minha herança.

Even tho I wasn't physically on the monorail I still found it very enjoyable. I would most definitely want to ride it if I ever had the chance. I also liked Enoshima a lot. So lovely. Very cute town. Seems quite and slower. Plus all the wonderful water around it is so relaxing. AND that "Enoshima Don"...yummy. Yes, yes please.

Cingiram-se de sacos nas suas ruas; nos seus terraços e nas suas praças todos andam gritando, e choram abundantemente.
Assim Hesbom como Eleale, andam gritando; até Jaaz se ouve a sua voz; por isso os armados de Moabe clamam; a sua alma lhes será penosa.
O meu coração clama por causa de Moabe; os seus fugitivos foram até Zoar, como uma novilha de três anos; porque vão chorando pela subida de Luíte, porque no caminho de Horonaim levantam um lastimoso pranto.
Porque as águas de Ninrim serão pura assolação; porque já secou o feno, acabou a erva, e não há verdura alguma.
Por isso a abundância que ajuntaram, e o que guardaram, ao ribeiro dos salgueiros o levarão.
Porque o pranto rodeará aos limites de Moabe; até Eglaim chegará o seu clamor, e ainda até Beer-Elim chegará o seu lamento.
Porquanto as águas de Dimom estão cheias de sangue, porque ainda acrescentarei mais a Dimom; leões contra aqueles que escaparem de Moabe e contra o restante da terra.
