Thumbs up before I even watch!! Love your family ❤️ Also I’m not an autism mom, but I’m an autism sister. He’s 16, in HS thriving and doing amazing. Beating all the odds people didn’t think he could 💪🏾
Ms. Vaughn, I've been watching your life and public behavior for a while and I should have sent my regards before now. I feel, probably with no dispute, that you are an excellent mother, especially for a new mom. You have educated yourself in child rearing, are active and interactive in Ann's growth and development, you're balanced in taking care of yourself and I believe a wonderful example to any parents.....special needs or not. BRAVO! MAMA!
My daughter is 9 . She is on the spectrum. I commend you for showing and sharing. People don't understand even family. My daughter is more verbal now. She communicate well. I do enjoy your vlogs blogs about your daughter.
Hi Vaughn! I've been following your channel for several years and I just want you to know that you are such an inspiration. My heart went out to you when I first saw the Vlog where you announced sweet Anne's diagnosis but I knew that you would be the best mommy for her and l looked forward to watching her progress. Little did I know that my child's developmental delays would become apparent weeks later. My son is 13 months old and has just been evaluated for EI. He was recommended for PT, OT, DT and Speech/Eating. He has had a feeding tube for about 6 weeks but I'm hoping to wean him off within the next six weeks. This all has been overwhelming but I'm thankful for kind and brave people like you to share your experiences. I look forward to learning from you all and watching Anne thrive. You have a beautiful family 😊Btw I'm a fellow Chicagoan (well Chicagolandian) by way of VA. Sorry for the novel, I rarely comment. Blessings!
@@afrprincess07 Thank you so much! I appreciate that. You can tell how much I don't comment, I didn't realize my full name was used, let me xhange that lol
Omgeeeeee! Adorable. She does have that kissable face. Your Mom must be in seventh heaven being around for her and you. Adorable cousins!!! You and Anthony are so generous. Love the get togethers. XO
I’m a BCBA and I will say I am sooo proud of you for being an active part of the therapeutic team! Making the most of every teaching opportunity is difficult but Anne and your family will benefit so much from your efforts! 💕
Awesomeness that’s so great that you noticed her interest and tested it. I noticed this for my son as well and for about a year now I turn on the hour long or live classical music videos or jazz instrumentals bc he’s also into that at night when it’s bedtime and he absolutely loves it! That’s so great Ann is copying.my kiddo is 5 and that’s something we’re still working on so I understand that’s HUGE progress. Stay strong mommy 😘
I am not a mom (yet) but I REALLY enjoy watching these vlogs. The way you love Anne just warms my heart; she is so sweet!!! Seeing her progress is really encouraging. Thank you so much for sharing this part of your life with us. ❤️

Go head baby girl Anne!!!! 👏🏽 I just love this little girl. Can’t believe she already figured out how to scroll through and find her song. These learning toys are really helpful.
I'm an autism grandmother, my grandson is 8yrs old now and my heartbeat. thank you for sharing your story because each child is different and there's still so much to learn. And thank you for not losing YOU! We all need to remember that and not feel guilty! Your Ann is adorable!
“Children with autism are colorful “, they are very beautiful, and like the rainbow, they stand out”! I’m not a Mom that has a child with autism, but I have an employee with an son who has autism. He brightens up the office every single time she brings him in. You are doing such a great job with your beautiful daughter. I know there may be days when you get overwhelmed, but know that God gave this beautiful gift to you for a reason. I often tell my employee, her son is a happy little boy with special needs, he doesn’t see it that way and that’s how it should be. Supply what the child needs and just let them be children. Thank you so much for taking us on your journey and helping us see what you learn along the way. You are definitely a beautiful Daughter, Wife, and such a loving /caring Mother. The world needs more people like you.❤️🙏🏼
Not an Autism mom but a teacher of children with Autism. The Pecs system is wonderful for her! Along with the puzzles 🤗🧩 ABA therapy is excellent and you have been great supporting her with it at home mommy!
Vaughn I’m an occupational therapist, I don’t work with children but I work with adults with intellectual and development disabilities and you are doing a wonderful job with little Annie. You’re a great mom💙
I just love how much you guys shower her with love, kisses and encouragement! Vaughn I think you and your family are doing a great job! Your vlogs help me because I’m an aunt of a nephew who has Autism. I take things for your vlogs and try them with him and they are very efficient! Thanks girl!
Continue to be encouraged. You are doing all the right things. Parents being consistent is important. Loved how she responded to the visual aids when choosing food items.
My son has autism and he loves music in general and is very echoic. I played classical music at nap time and it was very calming. My son is 5 now. You will be amazed at what Ann will learn and what you will learn from her.

You are doing a great job Mom! Anne is sooo blessed to have you. She is progressing steadily. I am a Fragile X mom. My son is 18 now. I watched a video of him when he was 3 and he had a very limited vocabulary and screamed a lot to get his point across. He is now 18 and thriving in all areas. Thanks 4 sharing Anne's journey!

Anne is doing amazing! I love seeing how she's growing and progressing. You guys do so well with her. Your love for that little girl shines so bright! I love it!
Congratulations on your growth Anne and family! I came across Little Baby Bum after playing classical lullabies when my son was an infant. I was looking for books that had an anthology of nursery rhymes and couldn't find any so I would sing to him. But through LBB and YT my son was so fascinated with learning, he started mimicking the ABC's at 13 mos. and reading Ten Apples up on Top at 2 yrs old. Keep up the good work! I think you all are doing a fantastic job! God Bless you!
I want to start by saying you have a beautiful daughter! Furthermore, I want to commend you on the job that both you and your husband are doing in terms of bringing autism awareness to the youtube community. I can tell that you and your husband are amazing parents and may God continue to bless you and your family!
Girl , I thought I would loose it when she was following the songs and that lets you know she hears and computes the words spoken . Ann knows what she wants and when she wants it. She’s learning how to use her words. She’s learning so much at a steady pace.
GIRL THIS VLOG WAS EVERYTHING! let me tell you, the kids' pool party and that 70s outfit sent me! toooo cute! so glad that she is making progress! be blessed yall!
Omg the 70s day look Witt flowers LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have a client who is 54 autistic and lives on her own and pays her own bills. It’s extraordinary. Although she still deals with some symptoms, she loves her independence. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I love your vlogs, Vaughn. You are doing such a phenomenal job!! Mothering is such an amazing journey filled with challenges and successes! I feel like I am on the journey with you! Anne was so totally adorable in her 70s outfit💛💛💛
Ann is doing good with the music vlogs that teaches her!!!!...she is so pretty and them eyes tho!!!....Bless your heart Vaughn...I know you are so tired...but you are doing good with Ann!!!!...ohhhh look at Ann dressed in her 70s day....Anthony did a good job choosing her outfit!..Remember now take time for yourself!!!!...Have a Bless Day!!!
Anne is so adorable. That 70's outfit melted my heart. I love these vlogs showing us behind the scenes. Thanks for sharing such an intimate part of your life with us ❤
I used to work with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism. I must say, her progress is PHENOMENAL!! Early intervention is certainly 🔑. You're also doing a GREAT job at home. Please continue to reinforce everything at home. ❤❤
Awesome job mom!!! As a therapist yes carry over is KEY. Also I've also used classical music playing in the background during session as a good strategy to promote calming and focus.
I've been working with children who have Autism for 7 years now. I am a teacher's assistant. The ages range from pre-K to high school children and even some that are around 21yrs old. First of all, kudos to you for taking therapy into your own hands. I cannot tell you enough how many parents are so frustrated with their children and just send them off to school and think that is is the teacher's responsibility to do everything. We can teach them things that help in school but if it's not reinforced at home, the child will not progress. The reason why she was able to relax with the classical music is because the mhz is probably at 432 frequency. Do research on frequency. I've also heard with some children it is great to remove wifi and all these frequencies that exist that we don't see that can be harmful to them. Nature is the best. Knowing what triggers them and really just getting a hold on certain unwanted behavior early helps. If she is non verbal, there are many devices that can help you communicate. There are boards that show the pictures of bathroom, food, water, toys etc and when you touch the picture it is voice activated and speaks for the child. Sometimes it will help the child eventually speak themselves. If you plan activities and she has issues concentrating, time each activity and see how long it takes before she gets distracted. Then adjust the timing on each activity and give rewards and breaks. When she displays unwanted behavior reprimand her and be firm and don't give in to the tantrums. Show her the proper way to behave and reward her for the good behavior. There are several ways to work with her. Children with Autism are very smart. We just have to know how to communicate with them and teach them how to communicate effectively. Kudos to you for a great job! If I mentioned something that you already do, please forgive me. Was skimming through the video.
Ok that outfit at the end😊so cute! You, my dear, are an awesome mother & human being. So much love and attention given by you and your lovely family. You can tell with all those cute kisses that Anne loves you. All the best. And thank you so much for sharing your life with all of us.

Great job using pecs. That's a great way to increase communication in the form of tacting. Eating veggies are hard for any child so cuddos to you Vaughn. I also have a child on the spectrum, and I can absolutely relate to drinking a lot of coffee/water in place of eating. Who has time to eat? lbs I need to do better. Its also great to hear you love your ABA team so much. They should seem like your extended family because it takes a village to raise a child. Thanks for sharing!
Great video, Vaughn. I so enjoy your channel - long time subbie. I play classical music for myself when I need to concentrate & calm down, so I can imagine how much it's helped Anne. Please don't fee like you need to explain your "House Hottie" attire. One of the many reasons we enjoy you is because you're not afraid to show us Vaughn at ease. It makes us feel like we're at the crib with you. Plus, you're gorgeous - do you, Booboo! HAPPY FRIDAY, Y'all!
