Part 10 its test flight time of the angelwingsdesigns pug dlg glider. Its a beauty believe me its the most delightful glider. and a great intro in discus launch gliders.

Just getting ready to build my PUG, so was interested to watch your test flight video. Didn't expect the discus launch demo also. Having never done discus launch before this was the clearest explanation and demo of the technique I've come across. Thumbs up for that 👍

hey mate took the pug out today, "hats off to ANGELWINGS FOR A FANTASTIC DESIGN AND FLYER! only thing I changed was the kit peg that was too small other than that am very pleased😃😃cant wait to take it to the beach for some real lift!

When discus launching do you have to hold some down elevator on to stop the glider trying to do a loop?

Okay okay so ive found dlg a bit late in life, ive watched every sensible clip i could find , and Nick has made be buy a Pug 2 ,yes he made me do it LOL. So Nick through covid i purchased every small plane and warbird to pass the time . I think im up to a small glider build as i tend to scratch build hydroplanes then mould the good ones. Will these things fly on old school radio ? Flysky etc ,or do they have to have a launch program setup ? What would be a good first radio for a dlg if its the only way to go, Regards Paul B .
The pug is basic up down left and right. And I have no special settings on launch
You would only have to look at that if you went Bigger dlg that have flap settings like cruise/launch thermal don’t for pug is sweet on micro bungee
