      Size needs to be increased from 4 to 12 or 16 players to clear these buildings to create that squad clearing this area feeling maybe 3 teams of 4 get put in a match. they use close proximity chat to communicate and a designated fire team leader can communicate with the other fireteam leader through radio. Would be a great idea an would cause blue on blue more as I assume call of duty players gonna run around a bit more and shoot their teammates adding to the chaos 😂

      They went and had veterans of this conflict to get it as real as possible. The Apartments mission was based on an actual mission where they had to push to a building with Snipers needing assistance.

      @@DasistriteEAX still sounds great. I recently played through the original thef games was suprised how good it sounded. You really could hear absolutely everything and had a good idea where it came from. Six days in fallujah however might have the best sound design I've heard since amnesia the bunker, which was a recent release aswell. I think I really started to notice sound design when I used to play bf3 and noticed the reverb when you shoot inside buildings, down to the shells bouncing on the floor. I think we take it for granted until you put on a good head and suck in the atmosphere. 10/10 for sound on this game thus far for me.

      Yeah, some may argue its just a game, but these games are still based on events or some form of real history. Unlike games, there are no redos or unlimited men. Commanders are likely to be sent home with the last dozen fighting men as likely as they are to return in a box with the men.

    Interesting fact: The real-life Second Battle of Fallujah was still quite a recent memory when production of this game began.
    With how highly publicized and extremely controversial the battle was, alongside a significant amount of backlash from the public, Electronic Arts (yes, EA) got cold feet and put development on hold for a long while. (This is probably the only time I genuinely agree with any decision EA’s made).
    Also, I’m pretty sure the project changed developers at least once, as it was originally a Third-Person Shooter.

      yep from what I remember when the project started they wanted to make sort of a COD game aka America Fuck yee.America do nothing wrong, enemy is comically evil kind of deal.
      completely bogus and then the dev said they would do this whit respect.
      and they straight up said we will cut out all the parts where the US massively fucks up and in many cases intentionally did something wrong and then tried to hide it.
      going to use a a fictional example.
      Like that scene from spec ops the line whit the phosphorus mortal (here the player just fucks up and kills a lot of civilian, not intentionally, this then is part of the guilt that the player char then had to live whit).
      in six day in Fallujah the US intentionally fired phosphorus mortal shell on known Civilian kind of deal (the evil COD character scene where the bad guy for no reason mortals a whole villedge whit phosphorus/chemical grenades/mortal/artillery not because there is enemies in the town and he just goes nuke the grid I can´t be arsed to deal whit it... nope... he just did it because he had phosphorus/chemical grenade and needed to flex his Evil muscles on something).
      let cut it out.
      then I need to ask if your not going to have the bad part of a story then why make it about this battle create a fictional event if your going to whitewash the US.

    I have been trying out these few early access missions as a single Marine just to see how good I am. I have died scores of times, never completing a mission. The best attempt on the sniper in the Mosque mission was that I survived 9:16 and took out 5 insurgents. The convoy mission saw me holed up in a corner and I took out a couple of dozen insurgents but ran out of ammo and could not make it back to re-supply. Amazing atmosphere all around and, to be honest, especially in the murky buildings, even with the flashlight, a really scary experience. My only real criticism of the game is that, having read about Fallujah and other battles of this period and war, I was under the impression that the Marines had carried a lot more ammo on them than the game gives you. I appreciate you had to look at the weight you carried. You can have nothing but total respect for the guys who were actually in this battle. Having read the stunning book House To House about this battle I can especially appreciate the intricacies of FIBUA, even as an armchair warrior. Respect to the US Marines and Army from a Brit.
