The surprise here is the keyboardist. Amazing.
The great Billy Cobham's groove is just incredible!!! " Way some swingin Pocket" That snare sound is killin! The whole unit sounds great! The steel drums is a nice touch.
Billy is totally in the pocket. Watch Billy's joyous face when Per Gade is out front as that releases and relaxes Billy, confident in the fact Per also plays with exemplary timing and lands every '1' with Billys....
Alway's great to see the legend Billy mentoring the young musicians, much the same way that Chick Corea has alway's done, and of course Art Blakey before them. Long live Jazz!!!

I found Billy's BEST hits LP on grp records at the Goodwill last year and I will definitely get around to giving it a listen especially since I don't have a good turntable on hand.
