First, the wardrobe coordination is spot on. Second, I joined Nextdoor several years ago, and probably two weeks later shut that door and dipped out. It was absolutely insane and featured every weird paranoid person you could imagine.
Yes. Yes. Yeah! On Nextdoor, I was like “Oh, this will be great! A little sense of community, etc!” (I live in Northern California and this was right after the huge Tubbs Fire in 2017.) And instead of helpful, useful stuff, I was BOMBARDED with dumb, time wasting shit like, “Can we start a group letter so ALICIA’S ROOSTER won’t crow too early??” Mind you, Alicia is a 75y old widow who doesn’t even own said rooster. Petty, unimportant bullshit marked as urgent. It took me about 5 days before I left, totally pissed off about it. It’s like my neighbors are Chardonnay swilling toddlers most of the time! Fuck!

My uncle used to go to the library and print pictures of topless Hollywood men then snail mail them to me as potential men I should marry. I just loved how he was oblivious to the fact that this made him look super gay to all the people at the library. Also I had email. He could have just emailed them to me. Lmao Next Door app is hilarious. I started some shit with a lady who just moved here (San Diego) from Connecticut and was making the connection between Biden administration and the helicopter announcement to BOL for a muscular black man that was armed and dangerous and was actively carjacking and shooting at neighbors. 😂😂😂😂. I usually don’t fall for the bait but I was bored of neurotic musings of the coyote-rage-fear gang or the neighbors that play some type of bridge game with the fresh batch of ring camera images.

This episode cracked me up! Nextdoor is a hysterical playground for boomers, but my favorite internet posts come from my neighborhood Facebook page. A woman in my neighborhood once posted the following: "If anyone is going to the mall today, I have a Bath & Body Works order that needs to get picked up that my husband keeps forgetting to stop and get...could you grab it for me?" I should note that she chose the black heart background for her post. I have so many questions: 1. How could she possibly assume that droves of neighbors will be popping by our shitty mall? 2. Who still shops at Bath & Body Works? 3. Has she not heard of online shopping and free shipping? She literally placed a Bath & Body Works order TO BE PICKED UP AT THE MALL. 4. Savagely calling out her husband for continuously forgetting to pick up said order. Girlfriend needs her Juniper Breeze STAT!

The woman talking about her neighbor driving their car into their own garage at 5:30 p.m. and shutting the door behind them has been watching too much true crime RUclips videos. Chris Watts came under suspicion when he was recorded by his neighbor 's security camera, pulling his truck into his garage early in the morning. He was loading the body of his wife and his daughters (still alive). Although the footage didn't show him loading the body, it was suspicious because he never used the driveway and his family was missing. He eventually confessed to killing all three of them.
