Agreed! Sometimes those practices are not top of mind with a predominately outpatient physical therapy company, but you are not forgotten!

How long does it take to become a licensed PT in the United States?

Thank you for your question. In the United States, becoming a licensed physical therapist typically takes about 7 years. This includes earning a bachelor’s degree (about 4 years) followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree (about 3 years). After completing the DPT program, you must pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) to become licensed.
