- Looking back... A nostalgic collection of photos and video clips for everyone who has fond memories of this unique all-girl band. From the early pop/cabaret days to the later rock years in the U.K., Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. Hopefully this will also serve as a fitting tribute to founder member Sue Exley (lead guitar/vocals) and Jan Frazer (drums) who are sadly no longer with us.

there is an endless world of beautiful female created music. i am so in love with their sound.................................. SM.
Thank you so much for posting this. I have been a fan for years, since I bought the Plastic Queen 45. I never knew they had so many other great songs. I wish I could have seen them live.
Thanks for your comment, glad you enjoyed it! You bought the "Plastic Queen" single but never saw the band play live? Such a shame, "Wicked Lady" live was the best experience...
Well, I've never been to England, and in the 70s I was in my teens, so I wasn't allowed to go see bands late at night.
Fantastic vid ❤❤
Geweldige video , Christien
Very cool, I never heard of them before. I wonder if Elastica ever heard of them, even Blur.
This is amazing, thank you for posting, question I noticed this video has a recorded version of Im so Confused, any idea where I could hear the entire song, other than the live version ? thanks
Damn! 🔥🔥🔥
it is very nice to see wicked lady again. I was there a lot of times and also in the bar where we al came together in Maastricht "de koperen cent". It shocks me to read here that jan and sue are no longer with us, what happened.....I was in love with sue when i was very young. My name is Kitty. Can somebody tell me what went wrong with her. 🥺
Hi Kitty, thanks for your comment. I think I remember you from those days (I'm Jill, guitar/vocals, Wicked Lady). Great times in the bar with Els & Margot all those years ago... Yes, both Sue & Jan died far too young (cancer). When Sue left Holland she lived in Spain for a while (close to her parents and sister) moved to Portugal and then returned to Spain. She had a great life; living in the sun, playing music, good friends, lots of fun, etc. It's nice that you have such good memories of her, best wishes xx
@@crapitation hi jill, thank you for your reaction, good to hear that Sue had a nice life. Strong minded funny Sue 😊😊
Hallo Jill , you know me from Heerlen...Sue had life for a time in my house...Hoe are you still making music? When did Sue died ...I realy want to know, i can 't believen it..Woud you give me a answer...Christien
Hi Christien, so nice to hear from you & pleased you found this video! Of course I remember you, hope you're keeping well. Yes, Sue (also Jeanne, the bass guitarist from America) both lived with you around 1978. I spent some time in your home too & Robbie used to stay when she was on leave... I often think about how good you were to put up with such an invasion, ha ha! Yes, Sue sadly passed away (in Spain, where her family had their home) in 2014 after a brave battle with cancer. She spent several years in Portugal (Algarve) before moving back to Spain & had a great life in the sun, always playing music. If you're on Facebook, you might be interested to know that Jeanne created a (closed) Wicked Lady Group with photos, memories, etc. Best wishes xx
