- S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla(2014) Spit Fire Version! Godzilla(2014) Spit Fire Version is another fantastic release in the S.H. MonsterArts line. Godzilla has a fantastic sculpt, fantastic paint applications, fantastic accessories, and a great range of articulation. It great to see the issues from the first release have been addressed. I highly recommend this figure!

XDXD Jk...we really need more effects still...I really want a representation of Gigan's Eye laser, Biollante's acid spray, Kiryu's maser beam can just be a swap with SpaceGodzilla's Corona beam or Ghidorah's Gravity Beams, but we need more effects...like Battra's eye and horn beams...

This will be my first S.H. monsterarts, So exited!
I think the atomic breathe paint should be just strands of paint on the dorsal fins because that's what it looked like in the movie but this version all of Godzilla's back is covered in the paint it just doesn't look right but it's still cool.
This is what I've been waiting for!
Just bought him. It'll be my second Sh. Godzilla with the lit up spines.
crazy how watching this very video got me into poseable radioactive lizard figures causing me to go into debt
Great review as always! It seems as if Bandai/Tamashii have been gradually improving on this figure with each release all though the paint on the membranes of Godzilla's mouth looks a little sloppy compared to the original release
Great review! I got the Spitfire version in the mail today. It is really cool looking! I love the detail on the translucent blue spines, the atomic breath accessory, and the MUTO head accessory. It's my 3rd SH MonsterArts figure, and I hope to get more.

A very nice figure indeed. I'm still hoping that S.H. Monster Arts releases a third Godzilla 2014 that is more to scale in comparison to the Toho Godzilla. If you see the trailer to the Godzilla game, you can see that the 2014 Godzilla is much larger to the Toho Godzilla. Maybe I'm asking for a bit much. Anyways, thanks for making this video.

Great review! Although I do like the figure, I might just stick with the "Toho 30CM Series Godzilla(2014)" statue. It just looks more detailed and fierce. But if I were to go with a movable 214 Godzilla figure, this would be it.

So glad they fixed the lazy eye.
I love this figure
Actually the left eye is not even lazy, because I saw where Godzilla's where he was looking, he's looking down but right side and he should've look Godzilla's front face so he'll know where he is looking
I am a little disappointed with the spines since in the movie, only certain parts of the fins were illuminated, but I guess that's asking too much for it to be screen accurate to a t. Either way, it was a good review
+LEGO GOJI Davidson There is one other thing. I think that they could have come up with a better name then "Spit Fire". Why not call it "Atomic Napalm" or something like that.
Amazing figure. Sad that you only see godzilla spit fire once in the entire film.
So if one were to yoink the spitfire's head off of its ball joint and swap it with the old 2014 version (fixing the unfortunate paint aps on the old figure), would it be a seamless edit?

The tail on my figure doesn't like curving in the middle. The center five or so ball joints on the tail barely move. ...Just thought you might wanna know.

+KaijuFanatic2001 My local comic book shop has the Rebirth ver. Godzilla for only $30! Everything else is kinda pricey though, like I found the extra effect packages, but for $40! And they have Special Color Godzilla 2000, but for $120-140

Does anyone know if this sculpt is more accurate to the movie? The original godzilla 2014 was a tiiiiny bit off because Tamashii didn't have enough reference. Did they get a better reference?

WOW! 2 RUclips greats talking! I'm not so sure about comic stores but S.H.MonsterArts multifire King Ghidorah should be coming to ToysR Us in January 2016! Even though S.H.MonsterArts has great toys,I prefer NECA Godzilla 2014 over there Godzilla 2014. But there spit fire version beats other companies by a landslide! S.H.MonsterArts 2,NECA 1!

I just got mine yesterday mine had a wonky eye and a lose jaw
If sh monsterarts makes the 2 mutos, then they will have to make the male muto be his movie size with Godzilla 2014 in order to make it look realistic and the female muto will be a little bigger then the male

I just got my Spit Fire Godizlla and all amazing things aside, the right knee joint is wobbly/lose and affects its ability to stand in some poses. Would you have a recommendation to remedy this?
I would recommend adding a thin coat of nail polish to the socket. Once it dries it should give the joint enough friction to keep everything in place.
Heh...the dorsal spines color must of been inspired by Trendmasters Supercharged Godzilla......
They should reissue the original 2014 figure and fix all the flaws it had.

Where do you get all these figures and how much are they?
Mine came with a jaw that was at an angle, when I say an angle I mean it was going to the side like when you freeze frame someone getting punched in the side of their face and their jaw moves to the left/right a LOT.
Everything else is fine but when I move the head to the left (Godzilla's left) the jaw just does that with ease but to the right it can't be moved. Does anyone know how to fix this??? It's an awesome figure but his broken jaw it's difficult to pose. TT^TT

My only complaint is that Godzilla's spines are all painted. But I can deal with it, it kinda reminds me of the Japanese Godzilla

You should be able to. The effect part is skinny, so there should not be an issue with it fitting into his mouth.

+Luke Horsey It really depends on which Godzilla you like the best. Both figures have not become rare yet, so I just boils down to your own preference. I would pick up Birth Version first.
