This i had to watch again and catch some details i missed first time. Fantastic that you could see all that just by walking from your accommodation and the little boat ride. I felt very out of breath just following along! 😂😂
@@ianstuart5660 haha yeah those hilly roads are a good work out 😁 i enjoyed yhe walk nevertheless 💪🏿 Yeah i was also really surprised how close by things were.
@walkonwalkon I believe you had more of an authentic experience there as compared to staying in some luxury resort! Walk or Bus for transportation and sampling some great local foods. Of course, an ice cold Carib Beer is always nice! 😄😄
@@walkonwalkonno, black sand is from eroded volcanic material, but do you know that some white sand beaches got their color from coral, and some got it’s color from parrot fish poop 😅 Just wanted to share that fun fact 😜
@@prosperousnatasha8153 wow thats good to know. Really interesting fun facts. I will never look at white beaches the same after this information lol Thank you for sharing 😊🙏🏿
Wish you had the right footwear to walk to the top of fort duvenette... it's an amazing view from above looking across the island. Yes the volcanic eruption in 2021 caused the beaches to turn black, the sulfur ashes flows into the rivers straight to the oceans cause the effects.
Oh man I missed out on the views 😕 yeah it was really not fun trying to walk up there with flip flops 🤦🏿♂️ Aah thanks for the explanation on the black sand beaches. Thank you for watching as always brother 👊🏿
Love your content. Capturing the landscape at the speed of walking is the best! I have a lot of friends here in Canada that grew up in St. Vincent. The only negative about the walking is how hilly it is there, but excellent exercise!..❤❤
@@ianstuart5660 thank you very much. Yeah i really enjoy exploring places on foot. I can't lie the hilly roads were a killer haha. I slept good every night 😅 great exercise. Yeah a few locals i interacted with either had a family member in Canada or UK.
@walkonwalkon Thank you, I've been to Trinidad and Tobago several times, wife's family from there. St.Vincent looks very similar to Tobago and both are the same size! Any special reason why you visited St. Vincent? Or just threw darts at a map?...😄😄 Wishing you safe and happy travels!
@@ianstuart5660 wow thats amazing. I would really love to see Trinidad & Tobago. I went to school with someone from there some years ago. I basically threw darts on the map 😂 and I'm glad i did because it's such a beautiful island.
@@walkonwalkon Omg, I have a very good friend from Botswana, here in the USA, beautiful country and also one of Africa's best economies. It is definitely on my bucket list. Thanks for showcasing SVG to the world.
I can hear you breathing , my goodness like the walks was man handling you😅, your country is flat i take it ?you not accustomed. SVG is very mountainous, i kinda believed, havent confimed it though that these beaches are originally black sand, considering the country's volcanic.. black sand is just as beautiful but it traps heat.. The Grenadines is mainly coral so the beaches will be white sand. I will love to see Botswana because i hear it one of the few Africa countries whose economy isnt doing so bad ,, i have go check it out on the net.
