The direction you were walking towards the Roman Catholic Church you can take that same road to old fort charlotte where parts of pirates of the caribbean movie were filmed also a great view the capital kingstown and the grenadines islands.
I’m new to your channel but I wanted to say thanks for this video it brought back so many memories. My wife is from SVG and I first went there in 1975 and spent 4 weeks staying at Richmond hill. Then I went back again in 1988 staying at Indian bay and cane garden, during that time we went to all grenadine islands, including the Grenada ones of Carriacou and Petite Martinique which unfortunately have been destroyed along Union Island and Mayreau my mother in law birth place. Now I hope to return to SVG one last time for it is much changed.
@@charlesjames799 wow thats amazing Charles. I happy to hear this video brought back some memories. It's terrible what has happened to the islands due the Hurricane. Caribbeans are strong people they will pull through these hard times 🙏🏿
@@ianstuart5660 i was there about 2 weeks before the hurricane hit. From what i heard from friends over there, the main island of St Vincent wasn't hit too hard but Union Island in the Grenadines had it worse.
@@walkonwalkon Thanks. It's very rare that this very southern part of the carribean gets touched by hurricanes. They usually happen much further north, like Haiti, Puerto Rico, Florida!
Yo yo yo, Kago! I'm watching this again cause of the beautiful scenery you captured! It's very similar to Tobago, but Tobago has only one half the population in same approximate land area size!
Year’s ago always wound my wife and myself up because they rarely mentioned SVG In the travel programmes because it didn’t have an international airport obviously they do now. I can remember that place Argyle when there was no airport only Macs snacks selling roti and beer.
First off once u on the crossing traffic have to stop , you just should make eye contact with the driver, if they knock down anyone the crossing they are in trouble, and the time you wanted to catch the bus was when workers and kids are going home. You should have gone to the bus terminal , the windward terminal .. anyway blessings
Yeah thanks for the tip on crossing traffic. Yeah that's true about the bus it was during rush hour. I was able to figure it out after a couple of days. Blessings 🙏🏿 Thank you very much for watching 👊🏿
Not sure about the timing but I know it erupted in 1979 for my father in law landed in SVG the same day it erupted 13/04/1979 and it erupted recently in 2021 so that’s 42 years apart.
Welcome to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I hope you enjoy your stay come again.
@@christeenfrancis9449 thank you very much Christeen. It was a wonderful time. I will definitely come back in the future 🙏🏿

Really beautiful Island. More videos of the beauty coming 👊🏿
I love this so much! Great photography and the best way to capture the feel for any landscape is always by walking! Well done, friend!

How bad was the damage of the recent hurricane? You were there before that?
