I literally own the 4k disc and can say for myself that it doesn't look nearly as good as many of the other 4Ks I own...some of which are much much older than this and shot on film too. And yes I have use a 4K tv with HDR. As far as demo discs go, I wouldn't even begin to consider putting this on for someone that was on the fence about getting into 4K.
No offense but it's like you downloaded a low bitrate version of the bluray 1080p and compare it. I can assure you, a real bluray version that's not encoded does not look like that. Looks very close to the 4K actually which makes the 4K upgraded kinda pointless. Details are still blurry.
@@djsoulfilter He didn't do immediate comparison between old and new disks. We can trust him or we may not. I just said what my eyes have seen. And he did notice something weird about colours but he somehow justified it. Gonna trust him about sound. Anyway the movie is great and and for anyone who didn't see it yet the disc is worth of picking up.
Agreed, and the colors seem less vibrant (especially the reds, like the roses and dominoes), more of a grey, muted tint, a bit more grainy and less sharp.
Weird...this site has a comparison and it looks much different (better) than on here. I wonder why. www.hdnumerique.com/dossiers/859-test-4k-ultra-hd-blu-ray-v-for-vendetta.html?fbclid=IwAR1eEQ4Cb5vnQ3GXJ_-eUomFWolmNqp_JtQwvpjo67CNzUHlT9PswGqcKNA.
One of the best DC films
One of the best comic book movies as a whole.
There is definitely improvement here, maybe there is slight DNR in some scenes but Overall it's pretty good! Great video!
Wow beautiful!!!!!!
nice transfer for a great movie ;)
Ask how many of the people who do not like the 4K transfer are watching this through a none-HDR monitor and then start laughing.

Anyone know why the edges are getting cropped out? Is this normal for 4k upgrades??
merci pour ce test
Tout le plaisir est pour moi :)
That not fair guys. I don't understand since I only speak English. I feel left out
I cant remember my blu ray looking so orange???..
@@itsRabbitSeasonYo They said "Let's speak french so we can leave him out." :)
Can you do Step Brothers next? Trying to see if that’s worth a purchase at all.
We’ll see !
Un gran cambio.jpg xd
So is the 4K version worth the big price difference? Can someone tell me???

Sorry Yuu but it all depends on which Blu-ray edition you are talking about.
But this version is the least successful.
Probably the worst 4K transfer I have seen.
That award goes to Terminator 2 :) Why do you think it's always discounted for about $7?
Far from it! The 4K transfer looks a lot better!

Love the movie but the 4K version seems kinda washed out and really soft looking.

@@jessmess are you watching on a screen that can do HDR?
@@djsoulfilter Nope. I thought about that after I posted my comment.
