I have always sewed, as my mother was an excellent seamstress, but got into embroidery and HTV about 10 years ago to do stuff for my children & grands. I have watched many of your earlier videos - just recently did a curved neck embroidery after seeing yours and about to do the MAMA sweatshirt. I've learned a lot, and always smile seeing the fun you are having. It is true, find something you love to do and you'll never 'work' again. God bless you and yours, your business, and your future. I feel this deep in my soul! I started my business 8 years ago as a way to earn $ for our family to go on a mission trip with our church. It was so well received that I kept it going and it became my full-time business in 2 years. My husband quit his corporate job this April to join me full-time!!! We're so excited, but also nervous about the downturn in the economy and now being 100% responsible for all of our family income. Best wishes to you! I'll be praying for you!

I love this!!! I have been going through this same scenario with my business. I know now that trying to do many things isn’t working and concentrating on one or two parts would be so much more beneficial. I also feel like the work I was doing wasn’t for God’s glory, it was more for mine own. Even though I never meant for it to go that way it was. Now I am redoing everything and doing it for God’s glory instead. Already I see and feel a difference! It only goes up from here!

This was so super encouraging. May I ask, have you both just decided to purchased ready made transfers to keep it simple? So all you have to do is press to your shirts and send out? I think that is what I kind of saw/ heard. If you are ok with sharing, May I ask who you use for your transfers, only if you are ok with sharing. Thank you.

You could also buy ready made prints or DTF prints, depending on the look you want or designs there are so many great designers out there! We love the ease of having things already ready to press vs. having to custom make each order! Find your style, what your customers like and you can either create transfers or buy them ready made! Wow!! How awesome Ashley! I am so happy for you and your family. I absolutely needed this video this morning as I am trying to bring my thoughts into order on how to do my business. This was so super encouraging. May I ask, have you both just decided to purchased ready made transfers to keep it simple? So all you have to do is press to your shirts and send out? I think that is what I kind of saw/ heard. If you are ok with sharing, May I ask who you use for your transfers, only if you are ok with sharing. Thank you.
Thank you so much Monica! Yes so we make our own Screen Print Transfers (my husband designs them) and sends to a company called TKO who prints them for us! You could also buy ready made prints or DTF prints, depending on the look you want or designs there are so many great designers out there! We love the ease of having things already ready to press vs. having to custom make each order! Find your style, what your customers like and you can either create transfers or buy them ready made!
