Wtf is this video
I wish everyone of the videos that have a 1 min raid shadow legends commerical W/promo code just cost a Nickle instead. Every 100k views would make you $5000 . I'm sure it'd pay better than G@y azz raid with Rhonda getting it on with buff Shrek. 😂

Chilean here. Everything on this movie is actually documented on letters and other testiomonials of the surviving victims, what they left behind before they died or what they told their loved ones. Some people wheren't even found when all of this ended. There are families who had to bury only the belongings of their loved ones because they didn't had their remains.
Dear god
What did the letters say?
@@Yayofangamer16 hi! There are a loooot of letters who were found in places where these people were t*rtured. Some of them were love letters, others were letters saying goodbye to their loved ones, others detailed the attrocities commited to them. There are archives on the internet, if you want to googe it. They are all in spanish, though
and to think some people still justify the dictatorship... my father is one of them, but everytime we discuss the matter he just doesn't know shit, like he directly can't believe that actually happened in the first place and really doesn't know anything, he was just a kid during it, but my grandfather was in the military at the time so my dad grew up in an extreme right household.
he really doesn't know anything, he probably just repeats what my grandfather said at the time or whatever i never got to know him much because my dad almost never took me to his house and now the old man is dead so
@@altschmerz3790 my father too. He was on the military and he got absolutely brainwashed. He think Pinochet saved the country of comunism. I think that the dictatoriship's job was done so right that even protesting for what's right and fair is considered comunism :/

Chilean here!!, i didn't knew this movie even existed, but i can confirm that the dictatorship was really that horrible, we have a museum here in Chile that shows many of the items used to torture people, as well as audios of messages sent by the refugees to their loved ones. truly horrendous events that still hurt our society till this days, we will never forget.
Viva Pinochet
Viva libertad
I hope Chile never forgets.
@@ptonpc Oddly enough it ended up being the only decent country in South America thanks to that, seems like they have forgotten now since it's going down the drain fast once the helicopter trips stopped.
@@bovineavenger734 That´s entirely untrue. Chile was changed through the years under the military regime, for better and worse, placing an economic structure that on many cases, places the citizens on a disadvantage against corporations, but even then, yes, we have quite the decent country thanks not to Pinochet, who was just a puppet, a sadistic puppet(not much more than that:( ) but all the presidents after the Pinochet, the ones that employed democracy. Chile is the country that it is thanks to them, and now, yes, we do have the economic, social, cultural crisis, but we will get through them. If you think that by killing the opposition and throwing people out of elicopters is a solution to politics, then my friend, you are truly lost. Next time, grab a book before commenting such ignorance, and for last time, Pinochet did his share of good changes to the country, can't place a blind eye to that but he is no hero, and never will be.
@@cristobalcabezas2753 Lot of ignorant statements putting words on someone else's mouth, but wouldn't expect better from a 90 IQ nation citizen
I think Andrea's final scene isnt contrary to the message of the movie, the point being that like Juan, she was transformed because of trauma to the point of commiting such an horrible act
No offense, but that's just a fucking dumb ending.
Idk maybe she had a point. Like i'm not saying to kill kids but... i kinda doub that it would be a ok kid later on.
@@bluebeka2458well kids don’t develop memories until around the age of two so the baby wouldn’t remember any of this. Assuming the baby had been removed from the situation it would have probably ended up fine.
@@Ridge310 Most of the time, sometimes there's been cases of babies that their bodies can remember traumatic memories, like being drowned for example, and they'll grow up being scared of something or having nightmares with no memory of why they are afraid. My mom was robbed at gunpoint in our front door when I was months old in her arms and I constantly have nightmares of people invading our house since I was little when I didn't even know what a home invasion was so yea it depends a lot-
@@hatsunedkaname wow I didn’t know that was a thing. Sorry you had to experience that. Anyway I was talking from a more general sense. Usually people mimic their abusers because they don’t realize it’s abuse as it’s normalized in their upbringing. If the kid had grown up with a decent family that possibly explained why certain things aren’t okay then the kid would probably turn out fine.
Trauma is the most brutal movie I’ve ever seen. I just watched it and I’m a horror/scary movie buff and this movie is actual horror, but horror in a sense of “it will give you nightmares”. Trust me.
where did u watch it??

Serbian film is worse than trauma
3:15 is exactly where I peace out, I’m going to assume that this is the tame part of the video, and it only going to get crazier with every second that passes after that.
Me too. I dipped out early
eh, it doesnt honestly get THAT much worse there are maybe 1 or 2 worse parts but not that much worse
@@pixelgaming5254 that scene SHOULD be the worst part about it
7:15 😅 when I saw the baby
No the opening scene is the worst by far
All of the films covered on this channel are still more bearable than the statistic module I should be revising instead of watching this
I feel you, I spent all morning doing an assessment on scheduling for business admin, brain is mush
Or compehanding an aray of geometry and shader nodes in Blender for a project that is due in a couple of hours, I feel you man..
The point of doing off the baby at the end is that she didn’t know what that family was taught, she had no idea they were raised doing the grossest things in earth. She did that to the baby because in the moment she thought the bloodline was evil not their childhoods
I consider myself a horror and shock-movie buff. I've seen all the "worst of the worst" ones on every list, with no problem.
But that opening scene made me have to pause for 5 minutes and pace around my house. The pure discomfort I felt was immense lol.
💯 I had the same experience, I refused to watch anymore than that first bit and I felt Ill for days.
Lol.
It's funny how we just add that to everything to make oursleves feet better
Damn dude. I could never have the stomach to watch movies like this, so I thank you for taking this mental bullet for people like me lol
This movie looks horibble. I must watch it.
Saaaaaame. Happy to know there are other lovely sickos like me out there 🥰
Its like a Serbian just here to shock
🤣 this comment
It’s…..not really worth it. It’s meant to be shocking and all, but it’s just mean and hateful and gross
@@ZiggyHernandez I was contemplating watching it thinking the gore can't be worse than terrifier but decided against it.
Thanks!
Thank you!
I think maybe she was the one who became the one pushed into her final decision by her trauma throughout the movie. Her victim was possibly without trauma, but she was not at the point.
This one was really disturbing. It even got me and I'm totally desensitized at this point
Idk dude, seems like the humanity is always trying to outdue the past events. When you think you reached the peak of disturbing stuff, you find an other. I'm not talking only about games only.
Is like yeah to remember this but also why the humanity is still cruel in a way. No one learns anything from the past.
@e-w-4174 some people have to desensitize themselves tho like medics for example. But I agree the teens watching gore videos and stuff like that and think they're cool are really edgy
Looks like a wonderful family film to watch with my Nan!
🤣
Watch it with the whole family and kids too.
Yh, this is the film to sit down with the whole family and watch on a Xmas eve, for good vibes.... 😂
I love how at first I was like "oh nothing could he worse than Salo"
and then it was worse than Salo
maybe its because of the historic aspect of this film, this was more heartbreaking than it was disturbing. As a bit of a disclaimer my undergraduate degree is in World History. Im all too familiar with the utter depravity of people with power against those they deem expendable and powerless. So to see a film like this it just makes me immensely sad knowing just what the Chileans endured during that time and how this film barely scratches the surface.
it's extremly weird for chilean media to get recognition. the only ones I can think of is The Mole Agent and that short story about that bear un the circus. either way, the fact that this explotation film has this amount of recognition is incredible, specifically to educate others about the atrocities of the chilean dictatorship.
What bear and the circus?
Will coming right out & saying how this movie affected him the most makes me want to watch this with my parents.
😂
My GUY I have been waiting so long for a detailed review of this film, let alone an insightful and historically conscious one. Great analysis ❤
The assault scene in the vacation house actually made me cry. The cheek bite, the salt….Jesus.
(EDIT) This video led me to ask my step dad about this too, I was enlighted on this a bit more. So My grandpa was actually in the Air force which therefor ment he was employed by the government. Which would mean we was on the side with Augusto. He would always say that he was on the side fighting the communists but he also still said that they were always scrapping by for food and the other side had constant access to food. Now the real crazy thing is my dad his sister was actually imprisoned for 5 years suspected of being a mastermind over a suspected hospital thatI guess on the other side. I am not 100% sure of the details but there is a book written about this and its about 3 women and one of those women is his sister. hes gonna tell me the name when he gets back from work. This video made me curious about this stuff and I ended up learning alot of family history. Pretty interesting
Also btw my grandpa just worked at the air bases he didn't fly any planes or helicopters. Hopefully that makes it less bad but my step dads family were basically on the opposing side. My step dad says my grandpa was a maintence worker. My grandpa hasnt gone into details about what he did at the airbases (they moved him around alot). From the stories hes told he seemed to always be on base and didn't fly the aircraft.
If your confused my grandpa isnt my step dads father. So my step dad isnt 100% accurate about what my grandpa did but holy shit my step dad told some insane stories. He was 6 and lived close to the government building that got destroyed and killed the first president (Salvador Allende). His Brother was at a stadium for a while. You can find details about what happened at that stadium on youtube. Do search like Chilean stadium massacre. (crpytic) and his cousin was murdered by the Juanta while painting a mural. I was pretty out of touch with my chilean history then I watched this video lol
@@arc36112 dude tell about the book..this sounds interesting
@@shreyassingh780 Its in Spanish and I am waiting on hearing its name. Gonna take time because my father is forgetful and we live in seperate provinces. Also my Grandparents imigrated to Canada prior to the war finishing. Which makes me want to ask more questions lol. How could my grandpa leave the country if he was in the Air force during a civil war? Hes been to chile after the war finished so I don't think he deserted.
@@arc36112 just dont forgot about it ...i am actuall very intrigued!
@@shreyassingh780 The book is not translated in english and was published in Chile and in Mexico. I don't have name yet but My Step dad's sister (the one who was imprisoned) offered to send me a copy. Might get the name tomorrow.
"dogs were trained to rape them" WHAT
Humans are definitely one of the creatures of all time.
They should of called it "A Chilean film" instead of Trauma. It would've been great for marketing.
*should've
The director’s overall goal for this movie was to shed light on the issues presented and get people talking about them
And, seeing how you made an entire video about it, I think it’s safe to say the director succeeded in that goal
10:53 is where I can't take it anymore. I'll be on my way
Tusk traumatized me so much I not only can never watch it again I actually feel sick & upset thinking of it. The cast are incredible, it's just the plot & human trauma sheer terrorism on human behaviour & emotions is just too much. I still feel I want to cry thinking of Justin's Longs character

Once again another great Brutality video, man - and I have to say that your pronunciation of names is amazing 👏. Great job!
Regarding the true story aspect, being from a country that underwent a similar thing as a dictatorship. I have a major in history, and during college when we finally got to Brasil's military dictatorshipbpeeiod, I asked my teacher how could so many soldiers not object when ordered to torture on command, and he explained that the officers were always on the lookout for the most sadistic recruits and would feed into that desire by giving them those assignments, but sometimes would train regular people to become desensitised professional tortures by the US government special organization SOA (School of the Americas) since the 40's
There are also the retired Nazi generals that were hired to run some of these places.
Recently found your channel bro, you’re already my favorite. hysterical laughter and horrific curiosity. Might be my first paid subscription.
Wink wink.
Watched it on Tubi last weekend. That movie was effed up from the floor up.
Even with the warning I still can’t stop watching
You a real one for watching these movies for me 👊
Hey big will, since I think this movie would fit the themes of your channel really well, would you mind making a video about "men behind the sun"?
Holy shit
they need to put people who make movies like this that aren’t based in a true story in a watchlist
I mean even when they are based on a true story they should arguably still be in some kind of watchlist. Even maybe an unalive watchlist cause I imagine researching a film like this must be traumatic af.
I think it doesn't aply on this case, since here in Chile, eveything that happened during the dictatorship, all the atrocities they commited, are considered taboo and not talked about enough. They always tell us that we need to forget and move on but the reparations for the families that suffered hadn't come yet and may never come if we are constantly told to leave everything behind. Movies like this, even if they are brutal, serve as a constant reminder that a country that forgets its story its forced to repeat it.
@@doggerz_ That’s a really interesting point. I think you’d enjoy ladtknighttbraves videos. She talks a lot about the commodification of atrocities and how we can present horrors like the holocaust in respectful ways.
@@vickyotters9207 Thank you for the recomendation! i'll definitely check them out!
Why? Because they make challenging movies? 😂 if you're a prude that's your problem, some art is meant to be disturbing.
i love these videos, i dont watch these kind of movies (because i donmt know where) but i love it
Need a help?
Trauma changes people. Sometimes they can't ever really come back. Not contrary. A sad but fitting ending.
I feel like the censoring is doing everyone a favour here. Thank this man for saving our eyes. Also i have a feeling that the extremly adult scenes are used to kinda drive away from the madness and keep the people attention. It dosen't matter if it makes sense or not, they exist mostly for this reasson.
Also if any of you had any hope for humanity, look at any movie like this. You would know that is a myth and some humans are naturaly sick to the core. Or just become that.
I didn't even seen this movie with my own eyes but i feel like i need therapy. Same with that game about taking care of a german kid.
Search it yourself at your own risk. Is extremly disturbing and depressing. Even i a girl who dosen't cry from games usualy, it made me cry hard.
yes 😢 even the censored one is still quite disturbing.
Thanks bro now I’m traumatized, I need a therapist asap!
Some movies shouldn't be made. This is one of them.
Nope. We needed this one. People outside of South America are really ignorant about how bad it got.
I don't like this movie but I do think that forcing atrocities that people under a dictatorship faced so that these real things that actually happened to get talked about by it's audience is a noble goal and even believe that framing it through the lens of a standard horror movie could be a bit alleviating rather than the actual context.
In fact the reason why I don't like this movie is because I don't know anything about the Chilean dictatorship aside from the brutality depicted in this movie and I've seen all of it.
They should, the power of cinema also resides in its disturbing and challenging side.
Yes it should, because the shit actually happened. Not the movie, but the terrible acts.
Watched this entire video at 2 am. I'm not risking the nightmares. I'll power through the morning watching hello kitty
I watched 10 mins of this and couldn’t cope any longer. One of the only films I’ve ever had to turn off
My family took in someone who survived the Pinoche. (Sp) or the dictatorship. I saw your video, then found the film. I’ve reached out to her. I just want to apologize for what may have happened. An offer support for what may come. I was a child. I had no idea....
So was the dictatorship before or the present like shown
Andreas end scene felt thematically right to me, as you said its about how trauma transforms and changes someone and that was her continuing that cycle in her own right
Holy Toledo!? You weren’t kidding about this one. Wow.
For anyone who stumbles across my comment and isn't sure about watching this review... The worst parts for me were in the beginning, as others have pointed out. The mother, and the baby scene absolutely made me feel sick and I kinda wish I hadn't watched the review out of curiousity :( what followed wasn't so bad, but yeah.
So if you're still undecided, just don't.
thank u im skipping it
The rape of the girls is pretty rough too.
Much thanks, I’m gonna skip this one too
So you're just going to brush over the father and son rape scene that happens in the middle of the movie? Lol
My mom bought me this once when I was a teenager but I never watched it. Thank god

I'm traumatized just by watching this... I can't imagine actually watching this movie.
I was like "yeah I can handle watching this"
Then you said "Dissolving a human fetus....." and I was like OHHHH NOOOOOOO🤧🤢😳 IM OUT!!!
I was scared to watch this movie on my own yesterday. Now that I know the story probably I can brace myself to watch it. Thanks Will 💕
I consider myself as a person who barely gets phased, I've seen Serbian Film, all three human centipede films, and half the popular F'd up movies, Played the 50/50 challenge on Reddit, seen LiveLeak videos and all of them barely affected me...But this movie however, never in my life have I felt so sick watching a movie, as a matter of fact, I found myself almost passing out...
Whoever made this movie seriously needs help..
Haven't you ever heard that bit about knowing your history or being doomed to repeat it? People don't read, people have been carefully taught that learning is boring, and so we need movies like this and all the del Toro stuff about the Spanish Civil War, so people will have any idea these things happened.
i've been binge watching these types of channel ever since the pandemic started (i literally listen to them while i'm attending online classes lol) and this is the only movie where i felt my stomach churn, my body weak and my head light without even watching it. and i've watched other vidoes talking about the serbian film, Salom and even lucifer valentine movies.

Funny what “gets to you” and what doesn’t. To me, this movie is just so ridiculous and absurd that I don’t find it that scary. Whereas, there were some scenes Big Will’s covered in the past that have genuinely freighted me.
I've said this about a Serbian film before, it's so grandiose, so over the top it crosses over into a brutal joke.
Like an acted out version of "the aristocrats" joke.
I don't think I need to see this uncensored thanks.
This movie really disturbed me, especically since it says its based off of true events.

This movie being based on irl events (The Chilean fascist dictatorship) is similar to what happened under the fascist martial law of Ferdinand Marcos in the Philippines , like what happened in Chile tens of thousands were killed and tortured with much much trauma being afflicted on the entire Philippines leaving a scar that remains to this day especially that the son of fascist dictator Ferdinand Marcos has won presidency and still continues many policies which imitate the brutality caused under his fathers regime

The movie isn't that bad compared to others, I'd say because it has more a John Wick stealth-shootout element to it. And the tropes hit hard, they don't outright kill the dad and son when they could have many times, but then at the final moment she had no issue using the gun.
First time youtube ever made me actually lose my appetite
I had to watch this with intervals. Always thought I had a pretty strong stomach….. not so much after watching this.
Yeah, I fast forwarded through a lot with this one and I’ve seen a lot of extreme films. I just feel like this movie was especially frustrating to watch and the plot just fell short. It dragged and some of the scenes were just too excessive. It’s just not a good film all around
